More importantly, I never have to wait for a machine or weights. They have some machines I've never seen at other locations. Locker rooms are very clean and attended to often. Great water pressure in showers. I prefer the pizza at the Keene location, but everything else is better here. Yes, once a month, I go out of my way to get "free" pizza at PF. No judgement. Planet Fitness in general: No hidden fees here. The annual fee is $39, same as any of their locations. I've had two memberships prior (white card--$10/month). Was easier to cancel than to join. Just go in and ask to cancel. No tricks, no trying to talk you into staying, or continuing to bill like other gyms. Black card is more complicated, as you do have to commit to 12 months, but these terms are spelled out when you sign up. You can walk in and cancel, but before 12 months, there is an early termination fee. Never sign up for anything over the phone. Read contracts before you sign them. Cancel in person.

This was our first time to Bodhifit and my friend's first yoga class. Having practiced yoga for over 15 years and an amazing yoga instructor near my hometown, I was not sure about how Bodhifit's class and instructor would be... However, I was blown away by Jo's fun and outgoing personalities and her incredibly articulate and clear instructions. She made the head stand such an easy task. She was hands on and supportive. My friend will most likely return to Bodhifit to practice yoga and I also plan to return when I am visiting the area again. A class with Jenny worked for my schedule. She had a class planned out, and I appreciated her forethought. But as an instructor- meh. She gave minimal corrections of alignment and position. Minimal. Nor did she offer any hands on corrections, so far as I could tell. But I kept my regular yoga instructor's corrections in mind, and felt better for having made time for the class while out of town. He's really gently encouraging, kind, and yet the class is challenging physically. His explanations are straightforward and pacing is just right. I tend to be someone who either wants to exercise (boot camp, body pump, boxing) or meditate (sit on a cushion), but this class actually combined the two well. I did not realize that was possible. I also like that the class was a full two hours. I also felt that I learned a lot, despite having done yoga fairly regularly for over a year now. I feel so grateful for this experience. Practical information: The studio itself is simple, no-nonsense, and decorated nicely. I really appreciated that. The costs are reasonable and schedule accommodating. We practiced at Bhava Yoga off Main Street. 2 hr vinyasa class with the sort of instructor (Peter) I wish I had for every yoga class I ever took/take: HANDS ON, non judgmental, nurturing, and encouraging...he was just so profound. I could only imagine how much I could accomplish in mind, body, and soul if I had a teacher like him to practice with full time. Feeling truly uplifted and inspired!!!
