As a result she is now a respected trainer of other Pilates instructors, many of whom she employs at her center. I have come to know a couple of her instructors quite well and they are, without exception, wise and wonderful women! Katrina is warm, approachable and empowering in her approach to Pilates. I know several people who have done ongoing work with Katrina and have had excellent results with their physical issues. I also know a local chiropractor who regularly refers clients to Katrina because she is able to further the healing that he begins. The body awareness I have gained is unbelievable. Erika is a master at working with individuals at all levels. I have a very scientific mind and appreciate working with someone who truly understands what she is doing and is able to explain in great detail how and why we are working the way we do. I now understand how I am supposed to move and I am able to approach any exercise in a methodical manner. This enables me to get so much more out of any activity. Booked a class online and the next day when I showed up- the studio was closed. No one picked up the phone and the class mysteriously "disappeared" from the schedule online - as if I never booked it. I thought I was loosing my mind! tried calling multiple times- NO ANSWER My gf tried booking the class for us the next day -- SAME THING HAPPENED! Class disappeared from the schedule and no one picked up ( we called both locations ) I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company- because no one was able to answer my questions or even pick up the phone! disgusting business practice- shame on you people. This is a sham place and should be closed down. Vile.

I must admit that in my almost 60 years never Once (really) was a physical accomplishment celebrated and i felt celebrated without being whelmed by it. I am more flexible, stronger for sure, able to move in ways I couldn't even when young & fit & active. I don't live in california, not sure why the system insists that is so- live here local to the studio. Come, give pure barre a try! Don't be afraid of the shake (after a while it becomes a goal to Find the Shake in your workout).
