Had a mediocre experience with Audra and 12th Street Portraits. She was 15 minutes late to our…read more1-hour photography session, didn't answer her phone during that time, and didn't seem overly apologetic that a huge group of people - including several young children - were left waiting on her. She did take some good pictures, but they could have been a lot better if she didn't suggest such specific poses for the adults (which felt and looked unnatural for some). My biggest complaint is that in the group pictures, she failed to notice that one person was staged much further away from the family than everyone else and that another person was in direct sunlight, washing them out entirely. This is something only the photographer can see from behind the camera lens and failing to do so had a real and negative effect on the quality of the photos. Lastly, it has been 2 months since my family's photos were taken and we are still waiting on her to edit out the other random people that were on the beach at the time and are in the background of the photos. Overall, this business has plenty of room for improvement.
