The go kart racing was definitely the highlight; everyone had a blast and it turned into a fun competitive bonding experience. But what we really loved was the VR latency experience, which was as such a cool alternative for anyone who didn't want to be on the track. It was awesome being able to offer something for everyone. The facility itself was very clean and well kept. Great vibe for a team event. We're also excited to come back once the bar is fully built out! My family and I recently visited LeMans Karting, and unfortunately, it was one of the most…read morefrustrating customer service experiences we've had. When we arrived, we were initially told the wait time would be around 50 minutes. Shortly afterward, an employee informed us it would actually be closer to 30 minutes because the system had "moved some things around." We waited patiently, watching multiple races go by. After some time, I asked the pit master when our race would begin and was told we were up next. When we checked again later, we discovered that we had never been added to the queue at all. Despite this being entirely their mistake, we were told we would have to wait even longer before being able to race. At that point, we decided we no longer wanted to participate and requested a refund. The staff refused to refund our money and instead offered free races at a later time. We declined because, after the experience we had already endured, we simply wanted our money back. To make matters worse, the facility was extremely hot because the air conditioning appeared to be either broken or ineffective, and the restroom had a strong odor of urine and feces. Overall, the lack of organization, poor customer service, refusal to issue a refund after their mistake, and uncomfortable facility conditions made this a very disappointing experience. My family and I will not be returning, and I would encourage others to consider alternative karting venues.

We booked a 7.30 till 9.30 sunset criuse during Harborfest, an annual festival on the waterfront…read more We boarded at 7ish with maybe 30 to 40 other folks so it was not crowded on the boat and we had our choice of seats, nice chairs with backs and arm rests. The crew were very friendly. Especially Connor and Lauren, the bartender. There was a bar with snack concessions for purchase. The cruise began at 7.30 out into the harbor with narration by the captain of the history of the harbor, the various ships docked in the harbor and the many shipyards. We saw dolphins playing in the water and were able to see the festival attendees, vendors and hear the music from the shore. There was a musician on board who walked around playing guitar and singing after the narration. We would have preferred more history to the music but he was entertaining. They raised the sails once we got off the shore and that was cool. We were able to stay on the ship after docking to enjoy the drone show that was part of the Harborfest activities, which was impressive but also disappointing in that it only lasted a few minutes, maybe 5 at tops. But overall it was a great cruise, nice ship that was clean and well ran. The deck underneath was also very nice with cool furnishings and is where the bar and bathrooms were located.

It is located in downtown Norfolk right next to the Nauticus and the Wisconsin battleship. The cruise port staff is very friendly and accommodating. It took roughly 30 minutes overall! The staff were amazing and set the tone for a great trip! I would definitely cruise from Norfolk again!

I stayed at The Chesapeake with my work and their friends for a week getaway…read more This house is on the 4x4 beach and requires you to deflate your tires on a 4x4 vehicle (tons of fun)! Up one arrival, you notice the jaw dropping size of this rental/wedding venue! When you enter the house, you are quickly amazed by the giant double sided bar with a shuffleboard, fooseball table, and an electronic darts game. On one side of the room, there is a bathroom with three sinks and three individual stalls. Next to that, there is a makeshift gym (bring your own equipment). On the other side of the bar, there is an aquarium that looks into the theater with wall to wall surround sound. This floor connects you to the back patio/pool area. On the second floor, there is a chef's kitchen, a smaller kitchen, ginormous dining area, two patios, and a sitting room with a fire place. The third floor is the private honeymoon suite with a patio. This house has two wings with a first and second floor. All floors have a washer and dryer (4 washers and 4 dryers in the house total). There are 24 bedrooms in all and each bedroom had a full size bath, king sized bed, and a private patio overlooking the pool. Each wing has a bunk bed room sleeping 6 in each room. The back patio has two bars, two grills, two hot tubs, PLENTY of seating and lounge chairs, a ping pong table, a gated pool (about 5ft deep), and a large shaded area to host a wedding. This house is MASSIVE and apparently popular in the Outer Banks. Many of the 4x4 tours were stopping to talk about this house. This house is just a small walk away from the beach. This house includes almost everything you need. It has clean linens, towels, pillows, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. It also has a full sized kitchen with 3 coffee makers, 4 dishwashers, tons of plates and silverware, pots/pans...it's fully stocked. All you need is food, body wash, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and maybe extra toilet paper as there is only one roll per room (though I did give everyone the idea to take some from the rooms that weren't being used). But that's not all! Don't no need to bring ice because there are a whopping 4 ice makers in the house as well as three refrigerators and two freezers. I can go on and on about how amazing this house is but I'll let the photos do the talking. And yes, there are wild horses in the beach!! It's a wonderful house if you can afford the whopping $29k for the week. Luckily, I was here for work and got to enjoy the beauty without spending a penny.

This indoor skating center wasn't too far so we decided to pay it a visit. I will say it's very affordable considering the activity and skate rentals. For my family of five we laid $57.00. My daughters had an amazing time and the location itself is large. We loved that they had snacks and food items to purchase as well. I took away stars for service. This place gets busy and quickly upon opening. It was our first time so we had absolutely no idea what to expect. The gentleman at the register was just not welcoming and quite frankly rude. I didn't pay it much mine because I wanted everyone to have a great time. I would suggest a friendly person as the welcome person for a better impression.

I've supported this shop for a few years now, but after my recent experience, I'm done. I purchased…read morea set of bearings for $50 after they were recommended by the clerk. The bearings were installed on my board without giving me the original packaging, and my old bearings were handed back to me wrapped in a paper towel. On top of that, my receipt listed the item as a vague "custom item." In hindsight, this feels like an intentional move to hide the brand and prevent me from looking up what I actually bought. After being disappointed with their performance, I removed a wheel to investigate and discovered the same bearings are sold online for $19.50-$21.99. A 150% markup is absurd--especially with zero transparency. I fully support local businesses, but this felt like a blatant rip-off. It's frustrating and disappointing to feel taken advantage of by a shop I've trusted for years. Unfortunately, this was the last straw. I won't be returning.
