While at the…read morebeach we were people watching from our balcony and I searched for electric bikes and we found this place!! We were staying close to 8th street and it took us about 10mins to drive to rent the electric bikes. The staff there are super friendly it was very easy to rent the bike online and you have to have everyone sign a way waiver during purchasing the bike online. Once you get to the place they were super fast and we were on our way with fully charged electric bikes and $49.00 a day FANTASTIC! We never even had to charge our bikes the battery life they gave us to them with was the same on returning them!! Only con is I wish they were closer to the oceanfront but they rent 6 seater & 8 seater golf carts and they deliver those and they have moke's it's actually a nice place to look around in as well! I'll recommend this place and renting electric bikes from them to everyone I know! Great to have fast good service!!

I inquired about renting a golf cart and was informed you must reserve months ahead on holidays, especially 4th of July. My daughter was devastated. They had a lot of carts in their lot, so it seemed strange. The women were nice, but said they could not control the fact no availability. When we went by the store a few times during the day the same carts were their, untouched. Only a few places in town have full service sales and rental. I can't recommend based on my experience. However, since they were officially closed I will keep the review on par with A-OK. I would try them again and call ahead.

Our pick-up, usage process and drop-off was all pretty smooth. Dylan helped us pick-up and pick out cart. We went with a cheetah spotted leopard print since it stood out to us and it was quite fun visually. Plus, the unique pattern made it easy to spot on the street! We had a great time using it to casually cruise around Cape Charles. From the time we arrived until leaving with the cart took all of 15 minutes. The drop-off process was easy. Basically, all you need to do is drive it into the lot, park it near the door and drop your keys into the designated drop box before your designated return time. We returned ours at night and had no issues. However, I'd definitely recommend returning yours during the day if you can, because Cape Charles gets pretty dark at night with limited street lighting. Would definitely recommend Eastern Shore Custom Carts for your golf cart rental while in Cape Charles!
