Ginger is absolutely AMAZING!! Very professional, super engaging, extremely creative and artistic! My husband and I had the privilege of Ginger capturing our intimate wedding on the beach in Corolla, North Carolina. From the first couple minutes talking with Ginger, I knew we had made the best decision! She thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. Her photography packages offered everything we needed. She completely put me at ease that she had everything covered and that every special moment was going to be captured to the fullest! And Ginger did not disappoint!!! Days before our wedding, she met with my now husband and I for coffee to double check all our photography needs! She literally thought of everything! On our wedding day, she worked with our day of schedule change so we could get married on the beach before a crazy storm hit. Simply put, Ginger is THE BEST!!! When we got all the photos of the wedding, my husband and I were and still are BEYOND IMPRESSED!! Looking through the images, we got the wedding feels all over again! She was able to capture all of the love and emotions of that day with every snap she took!! Literally every single photograph was PHENOMENAL!! She also captured the most beautiful pictures of my dog and I! All of our friends and family can't believe how incredible the photographs are! Everyone wants to know how and where we found Ginger! I cannot HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ginger enough!! Without a doubt, the best photographer on the Outer Banks! read more

I absolutely echo everything that prior reviewers have said. Everything about working with Ginger has been an absolute dream. She has extremely responsive, professional, and knowledgeable throughout this process--from when I initially contacted her to schedule an appointment, to the shoot itself, to ordering our prints. We had our photos done while we were in OBX on vacation, and Ginger wonderfully suggested her favorite locales for our photo shoot. When the day of the shoot itself came, the weather was rainy and windy, but Ginger was right on top of it--she scoped out a new (dry!) location, and found just the right spot where the wind would not affect our hair! She was incredibly warm, friendly, and fun during the shoot, and brought fantastic energy. Our whole family raved about how easy she made the whole shoot! The photos all came out beautifully, and she has been super prompt and responsive now that we are ordering prints. (We even waited til the last minute to order our Xmas cards--whoops--but Ginger was on top of it--she had a mock-up done within a day and rushed them to us so we could get them out for the holidays.) Ginger is an absolute delight and I highly, highly recommend her! read more

Our family of 15 vacationed in the Outer Banks this summer and wanted a pictures to commemorate the occasion. We chose GingerSnaps Photography by chance but we could not have been more pleased with Ginger. Ginger does a great job with communicating with you prior to your session. She is very prompt with responding to your questions and her website and pricing documentation is very clear. When you meet Ginger, you immediately feel like you are the only person in the room. She is personable and very professional and made every member of our family feel like they were beautiful or handsome but she made the photo session fun for all of us. Our family's age range was from 9 - 76. One of our family member's has special needs. Ginger immediately picked up on it and was able to engage my 11 year old nephew with care and understanding. Not only did we have fun during the session but our pictures turned out beautifully amazing! Ginger was able to capture the best side of all of us. Oh - I forgot what a great job she did taking pictures of our 2 dogs with the family. I am so happy we chose Ginger and would recommend her again and again!! read more

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ginger! This was our first time having professional photos taken as a family and she exceeded all of our expectations! We have 2 dogs and a 2 year old so we anticipated a challenge, but Ginger is truly skilled at this profession and knows exactly what to do. She was extremely patient and genuinely cared about getting great shots for us. Ginger also has a very tactful and charming way of getting the pups and little ones to look at the camera :) After this experience, I would never want anyone else taking our photos. Ginger is truly amazing and I hope that we have the opportunity to work with her again! Look no further than GingerSnaps Photography for a fun, stress-free and all around outstanding photo shoot experience! read more

Ginger came to Corolla to take group photos of my extended family of 10 this past July. It had been a horrible week, weather-wise, and we prayed for a ray of sunshine. Not only did we get the sun, but we got Ginger and her high-energy personality & professionalism. It was quite windy, and she was prepared with pins to tame the crazy hair, and patience to handle teens and adults who weren't necessarily thrilled to be posing and smiling in the wind and heat. She is a rock star! Our digital files were emailed to us about 4 weeks after the shoot - on target with her estimate at the time, and they turned out amazing. If you plan to be in OBX and want to capture a beautiful memory of your family, look no further than GingerSnaps Photography! read more

First let me say that if you are in the OBX and need a photographer GingerSnaps Photography is absolutely the way to go! My husband and I made a last minute decision to do a destination wedding and did not have much time to plan. Ginger was recommended to us and I am so thankful we found her. Her outgoing and upbeat personality made our whole day and experience fun. From the moment that we booked GingerSnaps she made us feel confident we made the right choice (and we absolutely did). On the day of our wedding she made sure to capture our personalities and still incorporate staged shots. We cannot thank her enough for the amazing job that she did. We'll definitely be using her in the future! 5 STARS!!!! read more

We have a local photographer that we use in Greensboro - who is excellent. However, Ginger is superior to any photographer I have used in the past. I cannot believe we found her through a google search when planing a trip to the OBX. We hit the jackpot. She really helped my daughter feel special and easily got her engaged in the process. Her high energy and contagious personality had us wanting to make her part of our family. She executed some fantastic shots and really created a wonderful experience for us. Love her. If you want a smooth relaxed shoot with stunning pics, Ginger will exceed your expectations. read more

Ginger was incredibly flexible, generous, and anticipated everything for our family photo shoot on OBX. We had to change things last minute due to some issues with our children (aged 2 and 4) and she made time for us and gave us amazing guidance. Even my son (who never, EVER smiles for pictures) was giggling and enjoying her spunk and engagement. We brought along our family dog and Ginger had all kinds of tricks and treats to help make taking the photos easy and even enjoyable. She is full of delightful charm and is timely and personable in her responses. We HIGHLY recommend her and cannot wait to see the results. read more

Ginger came to photograph our family of 13 people this morning on the beach in Nag's Head and we had a great experience! It was quite a challenge given that there were 7 children ranging in age from 1 to 14. The babies cried, the toddlers wandered and the teens can't follow directions, but Ginger was kind, patient and energetic the entire time. She photographed everyone together and then broke us into several groups of nuclear families. It was a great morning. I highly recommend GingerSnaps Photography to anyone looking to capture their family while on vacation in OBX! read more

My husband and I were married in Kitty Hawk last week and despite the excitement we were completely nervous about selecting vendors we knew nothing about. Fortunately, we got extremely lucky and picked an absolutely amazing photographer! Even though I sent Ginger on a wild goose chase by giving her the wrong address (wedding brain!) she was a complete sweetheart and my family loved her! She even got my 4 year old nephew to pay attention and smile which is no small feat! I would recommend Ginger to anyone needing a professional photographer in the OBX, she's the best! read more

I have only great things to say about GingerSnaps Photography! My fiance and I were nervous about our engagement photo session, but Ginger made the experience so much fun. She was great with our three dogs and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. The pictures were ready a month later, and they were incredibly beautiful! Completely above and beyond any expectations. We are super grateful to have online access to the photos for an entire year in order to take our time purchasing these pictures that we know we will cherish for our entire lives! read more

Ginger is AMAZING! Our family is in OBX celebrating our parents 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to document the occasion with professional photos. Ginger is definitely a professional all the way. We have a large family with 22 members to coordinate on the beach. The children were as young as 1 and she did spectacularly. The morning was extremely hot and humid. Some of the younger ones started to breakdown and she remained professional and knew exactly how to handle them to get them back on track. I would recommend her 100%! read more

Ginger was great! My family has never taken professional photos on the beach. Ben was awesome!! He came to Avon took photos of our 3 generation family. Found them online and am soooo pleased. We have had professional pictures taken on the beach before, but this experience was far and away amazing! Ben included all of the different shots I wanted, even the dog. It's a good thing they will travel, as I have a feeling we might use them for upcoming weddings! read more
