I never write reviews but tonight's dinner was so bad I had to do it. The manager refused to help our table when an issue arose with the meals. He was rude and ruined my son's birthday dinner. First of all, why on earth would one waitress have 7 tables of which two were large groups? Utterly ridiculous. It took 10 minutes to get a glass of water. Now onto the food. The steak was overcooked. I like medium rare. It was bone dry couldn't cut it with the steak knife. The quality of the food has severely gone down. I don't suppose I'll be going back. I was really surprised and impressed by my overall here. Service from the time we walked in the door. And through out our entire meal was above average. This place was very busy and our service did not lack at all. All of our food was cooked to order and was hot. It was even spaced out very well.i have been to the Outback in camp hill Pennsylvania. Stopped for a quick dinner around 6:00 Saturday. I was anticipating a wait, but to our surprise, we were seated right away. The restaurant was very busy, but our waitress was extremely prompt. We put in our order for appetizers and drinks right away. Our appetizer came out and we put in our dinner order. Within 10 minutes. our dinner was served piping hot. Our waitress was prompt and refilled my tea without me having to ask. The food was cooked very well and was delicious. This is one of the better outback locations that we have been to. Have been here before. Never really had a bad experience until tonight. Seated right away. Busy but no one waiting. Sat at our table for 9 minutes before anyone came by. Appetizer and drink order taken. Drinks out quickly as was appetizer and bread. Took another ten minutes for our food order to be taken. Ordered two center cut sirloins, both medium. When the came out I could barely cut the one end. Then cut into the center and blood poured out. Not pink. Not a little bit. Raw. I could put my finger in it and it wasn't very hot. Definitely not finished. So when they came back out, they were well done. Not medium. Could barely cut it. According to manager the wait staff entered in for medium well. We received drinks right away and we ordered our bloom in' Onion they even remembered the second sauce. I ordered the ribeye ( med rare) and it was done perfectly. WOW. Just WOW. Come to the York Outback and get the Twisted Ribs. It's not often you see a completely new take on an old favorite, but they really found a winner with these. The ribs were coated in the seasoning used on the signature Bloomin Onion and then deep fried. YES! Deep fried RIBS! There were crispy on the outside and falling-apart tender inside. They featured a tangy BBQ sauce and a drizzle of the Bloomin Onion dip. I will be back just to eat a big pile of these. My other favorite menu item is the wedge salad. Whatever they use to season the steaks are delectable and even the cheaper cuts are tender and delicious. The staff and service at this Outback are outstanding. I came here a week or two ago for the first time. Our server, Toni was AWESOME! The strawberry lemonade was amazing as well, I ended up getting a cup to-go. The bread we got was phenomenal too. Just want to start out by saying that our service and waitress were excellent. The kitchen, not so much. I 100% don't recommend this place if you have a food allergy. They wrap the steak in foil and basically boil it with no seasoning. I've never seen a steak look this bad. You're a steakhouse, figure it out or say you can't make it without your allergen in it. Had them make another one with at least some seasoning and it was rare (ordered medium rare) We needed to make it on time for a movie so we didn't bother sending that one back. read more

I'll preface with Outback not being my favorite restaurant as I'm not a fan of most of the food they offer. I go if a dinner is planned there and I join. My favorite thing there is their tilapia and crab cakes with rice, which are amazing. I also enjoy their carrot cake. I was disappointed this time because the reduced menu did not include my favorite entrée, so I instead had the chicken and shrimp pasta. To their credit, it was really good. The BEST part of the experience was our waitress. I don't think she actually told us her name, but that didn't matter. The host was friendly and my server Diamond was very attentive and made sure to check if everything was okay. She told us we could get a bottle of Moscato, that me and my sister loved. Our food also came out perfect. I order a filet med. and it was exactly how I like my steak. At the end of our dinner our waitress told us if we got a gift card we could get a $10 bonus card and was so worth it! Will be coming back to use that for next time. read more
