A local suggested that we stop by Zappy's for a $3 car wash. They had several options ranging from the Basic for $3 on up to the $17 Platinum wash, which is what we opted for. Unfortunately, even with the power wash spray before entering the automatic wash tunnel, some of our splattered hitchhikers still remained. We drove back around to ask if they had a guarantee that would allow us another trip through, but they did not. One of the employees did offer to manually scrub them off for us. He grabbed a cloth and some cleaner and removed the insects on the bumper and took time to address a few spots on the windshield as well. The service was fast, thorough and efficient. If ever in the area, we would definitely stop by again.

Brand new to Concord! What a fantastic car wash! I'm quite a connoisseur of car washes and there's…read morealways pet peeves with each car wash and makes you not want to return. Mine is left over soap and not enough rinse water. So this is a conveyor car wash which has a flat track with these little stubby things called flights so there's no chance of your wheels getting damaged in the track conveyor. This means if you have a truck with wider tires or something with low profile like a Corvette you won't have any damage. There are two customer pay stations and a VIP all of them use license plate reader so if you have something this particular to your car it remembers your car. Typically car washes can run anywhere between 10 and $25 depending on level but if you go twice in a month the membership makes the most sense because you will easily come out ahead. I have the monthly membership for my truck and you get guided in they spray off the areas where bugs and dirt can hide and then off you go. I've never been through a car wash this long before it has two top rollers two sets of side wraps and a wheel scrubber and a ton of fresh water. My truck has some air scoops that soap constantly gets soaked in and never gets out and the hurricane of water that my car gets going through this wash completely removed all traces of soap. You then go through a drip dry and then the dryers. Once you're done you can go vacuum your car if you wish or what's cool is they have bins with these little detail towels so you can finish wiping off whatever water is left over. What's most interesting to me is the dual layer undercarriage wash. I really don't care for salt or winter loaded up on the end of side of my car so I'm very interested to see what this does this season. They also have a service that does hand washes and full-on details which I have not taken advantage of yet but I'll let you know when I do. There are four days for this. No wipe down of the door jams or inside the tailgate which were all very dusty too. They left leaves in the door pocket and didn't vacuum out and clean the cup holders. There were two crushed soda cans left in the passenger door pocked. To add insult to injury, they charged an extra $10 for a truck. Basically, I paid $25 for them to vacuum the carpet and clean the interior windows then I had to drive the truck through the next door carwash.

My knowledge of this was limited to cars with a drippy black mess that was gooped up under your car. I was wrong! I dropped my car off and the process was simple. They completely DETAIL THE UNDERSIDE of you car. Wash, remove oils soils and pretty much make it look just like new underside. This includes INSIDE THE FRAMERAILS which i didn't even know was a thing. After that car sits on a lift with fans blowing on it to completely dry it, the undercoating begins. They utilize a fluid film which dries into a waxy like coating and it's kept off of the exhaust and delicate electrical components. I picked my truck up at 6pm and crawled underneath it and MAN it looked BRAND NEW! I was expecting that it was going to smell and drip and be smoky; nope. Got it home and was looking for some driveway drips, nada one. The only caveat is that you can't take it thru a car wash that has an undercarriage wash for a few weeks; small price to pay.
