This store didn't have what I was looking for but had a nice selection of shoes and just about anything sports related you would need. Easton is the largest store and has a better selection but this location didn't disappoint. The staff I interacted with were great as well.

My when I tell you this place didn't have amazing people already, the next one come out and talking about this Einstein bagel that had something to do with a hash brown, she was very kind too. All their bikes are of great quality and for a good price all things considered. The bikes are made at manufactures where all the worker are paid well which is why they are a bit higher. Scooter ended up working great. I then completely ruined my bike attempting to install a new derailleur and ended up bending the new derailleur to what I thought was the point of new return. Even thought about returning it. Took it to the shop since he did great job with helping with my e scooter. Kept the bike for two days and had it riding brand new and looking brand new. He even provided me with riding tips ( gear shifting and properly transporting bike). I will return anytime I need bike repairs. This is a go to shop! Had a flawless experience here getting a Dyno Tune in my 2015 street bob! I was slightly hesitant…read morebased on the lack of many reviews online but when I called and spoke with Bob the owner I decided to go with them over other tuners in the area. Their techs have gone to school extensively for Dyno tuning and the bike runs absolutely incredible compared to when I brought it in. Much smoother at all throttle positions and impressive power increase. Went from 84hp and 98 tq on previous map to 95hp and 110 tq on a stock motor with cams intake and pipe. Very impressive numbers!! The story behind this shop getting into Dyno tuning is also comforting- they used to build motors and send it to a guy who did "Dyno tunes" on behalf of their customers only to discover he was flashing a pre-made map onto their bike and sending them on their way. This is very common and I have seen it time and time again with many tuning shops. Lunsford will take the time to dial in your bike and walk you through your results on paper- very honest trustworthy and stand up guys here. Highly recommend for all maintenance repair and Dyno tuning!!

Big shout out to Dave Baer, owner of Clintonville's Baer Wheels bike shop. He is knowledgeable…read moreabout all facets--parts, bicycle sales, and equipment. He set me up with a fixed tire, new pedals, new lights. Dave made me aware of better quality lights on sale. He threw in a tune-up at no charge. His long time presence at the farmer's market is a community benefit. Since the pandemic when bike retail was at its zenith, sales and service is slower. The top people at big name places like Trek and Roll have gone under. The stores franchise/corporate owners took over. Small, local cycling businesses struggle to keep up. He's lucky to find and afford part-time help. In short, It's much harder to keep up the same standard of service. Personalities aside, Dave Baer runs a decent bike store. We need to support him so we have a neighborhood small business continue to meet the needs of Clintonville cyclists. Give him a little wiggle room on pick up times and get a date certain when you've waited too long.
