    This is an unfair and frustrating ordeal for me because I purchased a new KIA that was a lemon from them!! I wish I could give them no stars!!!! It is now July 16, 2024 and I am forced to ascertain legal assistance to help me get my car back despite trying multiple times with my title and keys in hand and Still have not gotten my Kia back from the dealership in Fairfax city that was towed there on May 20, 2024!!! I don't believe that Ourisman Fairfax Kia located on Fairfax Blvd would be able to treat consumers with no regard to their health and safety issues when the car that was sold breaks down with out any warning signs while the person is driving it on the highway in Northern Virginia and the surrounding areas!!! They are so dishonest and rude it's sickening! I have been misinformed and discriminated against by this dealership because of my race and ethnicity. Discrimination against women is unacceptable! The GM that is currently running the show should be ashamed of the unfair treatment female customers like me who purchase a KIA. This is probably why the Employees never stay long at Ourisman Fairfax KIA!! It is shocking that this dealership is still in business!!They have no problem selling the vehicle and cashing the check but buyers beware of what is coming around the corner when the car has recalls, overheating or mechanical problems!Hoping that the Ourisman Fairfax Kia will not allow the car to be stolen, lost, or damaged by their employees! How can they lose your car that has been physically located at this location! This is my crazy experience and unfortunately it is the truth not a chapter from a novel!!! This car buying experience has been so terrible I have not even seen my poor financial decision when I bought my white Kia sportage that I nicknamed "snowflake"!!This has been financially emotionally and physically draining for me. Spending nights at my computer documenting everything that has transpired because it is such a challenging situation! As of now I am working diligently trying to get Snowflake back on the road safely. Lastly, I would hate for this to happen to You or to your family member!!!!!! Ourisman Fairfax KIA new Management are SCAMMERS buyers please beware!!!! Thank you for reading my review. Your time and positive vibes are appreciated!

    Update: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION I would give zero stars if I could at this point. Took them about 2 weeks to get me a loaner car after dropping off my car, then they went about a month without any updates before calling to tell me it was ready for pick up. When I got the car home, I noticed that the front right wheel's cover was missing and the rear view window's wiper fluid tube was disconnected. I called them the next morning to inform them that the cover was not put back and it has now been over a month and 3 weeks since hearing from them and I still don't have a cover. They also did not warn me that there would be a break in period for the engine they replaced, leaving me very worried that something was wrong. Might be a nitpick but I shouldn't have to do my own research and consult other car professionals on why my car is running weird.

    1-Star Review -- Buyer Beware Misrepresentation, Repairs,…read moreand Significant Out-of-Pocket Costs I had an extremely stressful experience purchasing a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon from Auto Buying Service. Prior to purchasing, I clearly and repeatedly stated that I did not want a used vehicle with major mechanical issues. I was assured multiple times that the vehicle was well maintained, previously owned by someone who "took great care of it," and that it only needed routine service and new tires. Within days of purchase, I took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria for Service B. Their inspection revealed multiple serious mechanical issues, including a leaking rear main seal with a repair estimate of over $8,000, along with additional issues bringing the total estimated repairs to over $15,000. Although the vehicle was sold as-is, this is not buyer's remorse -- it is misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition at the time of sale. After significant back-and-forth, the dealership agreed to cover the rear main seal repair. However, I was still required to pay $2,000 out of pocket for that repair, on top of numerous serious mechanical issues such as: * Rear main seal failure * Tie rod replacement * Steering damper issues * Rear shark fin replacement * Brakes and rotors * Alignment * Additional mechanical concerns that should not surface so soon after purchase This entire process was exhausting and emotionally draining. Communication was delayed, defensive, and lacked transparency. At no point was there proactive accountability or full disclosure prior to the sale. Buying a vehicle at this price point should come with honesty and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I strongly recommend that potential buyers obtain an independent inspection BEFORE purchase and not rely solely on verbal assurances. This purchase turned into a financial and emotional nightmare, and I do not recommend this dealership.

I was looking for a Honda Fit-…read morethey had 9- and I called ahead the day before and they had the two cars I was most interested in right in the front. The staff were really nice and let me look at them and test drive them with tons of time. Once I decided, I talked to Junior about pricing. They are very upfront about the costs, and post on the wall the additional dealer fee. There are no add on costs, no surprise "transaction" fees, no upsells for stupid things like nitrogen in your tires. They also don't negotiate on prices. That can be good or bad, just know in advance! Once we agreed on the price, Junior arranged the paperwork. In ten minutes he had everything set up. He made a folder with the forms I needed to bring to the DMV and specifically stated what each form was for. We were done pretty quickly! 1st Choice Auto Sales was a great place to buy a used car. The staff are honest, direct, and upfront about the vehicles. I wish all car buying was like this!

They barely recall that you exist. Meanwhile, other dealers where I showed interest were courting my business relentlessly. 1st Choice is a 90 minute drive (3 hour r/t) from me but I was willing to travel. I test drove their inventory of manuals: a Fiat, Yaris and CruzeEco. The six-speed CruzeEco was perfect except for a whistling under the hood and TPMS warning light. On August 5, assurances were made that these issues would be fixed in a day or two. Not wanting to lose the car, I placed a holding deposit on it. Even once I put down $500, it took literally weeks and many false promises of being done "this evening or the next day" before this car was roadworthy on August 20th. I asked if we would get a break on the $8,800 price because of the long wait, and sales person Junior replied, "Sorry, no." As relieved as I was to finally take the car into my possession, I was disappointed in the entire situation and the terrible customer service up to and including the day I bought it. When we came to pick it up, the car had 1/8 of a tank of gas, not even enough to make it home. I asked about this and Eddie took it to fuel up. The Eco (manual) holds about 11 gallons; here was a chance to demonstrate some gesture of good will. Hilariously he brought it back w 1/2 a tank. Couldn't even bring himself to send me off on full. Just TWO WEEKS after purchase, the check engine light popped on. My mechanic discovered oil splattered all over the engine, the compartment that holds the oil was nearly empty and the valve cap was busted. I reached out to 1st Choice, manager Eddie was of course useless. He said none of this was covered under the warranty, but suggested I bring the car to him anyway, for out-of-pocket repair, knowing it was a 90 minute trip and the car was in no condition to drive. He refused to take responsibility for selling me a damaged vehicle, implying too much time had passed. Again, I bought the car August 20. This was September 4. Not wanting to waste any more time / energy / money with 1st Choice Auto, I paid my mechanic $400 for the work. Looking back I see as soon as I settled on this car and was no longer actively shopping around, it put me in a terrible position. I needed a new commuter right away and SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ELSEWHERE, but the non refundable $500 deposit and the continual promises kept me locked in, so for weeks I was scrambling to get myself and my kids around without a commuter, both before purchasing and then again when the Cruze was in the shop two weeks later. I do love this pretty little car (see pics). It is so fun to drive and gets great mpgs - hence the "ECO." But was it worth all the long wait, all the hassle and extra expense??? I guess I'm struggling to understand why it was put for sale if it wasn't ready to be sold and why it never felt like any kind of priority for them to sell this car to me. In retrospect, I realize I appreciate being treated as a valuable customer by other dealerships interested in earning my business. With 1st Choice Auto, it's kind of the reverse. And I would not recommend.

He was a nice polite guy. Nice guy. We looked at couple of cars and bought one the same day. This is why I am giving 2 stars. I drove the car home. 5 miles from dealership car engine light comes on.Then I realized why they couldn't do the emission test the same day. It was because of Engine Light Problem. Make sure all dealers will get the emission test done the same day before buying. If they say come after few days "DO NOT BUY THAT CAR". I called the DARCARS and they said they will fix the engine light. Took the car into the dealership to fix the engine light. The guy in the service department was very rude and acted as if he was doing us a favor. They fixed the engine light but very bad customer service. VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE at service department. Final Contract Tips: I paid $800 for a GAP plan which is absolutely useless. Becareful and make sure you DO NOT BUY GAP plan. Please read contract throughly. Do not sign without reading. I made the mistake and paid the price. Just pay for only what you need. Do not be scammed into useless add ons to the price of the car. Never Going Back. Nik the sales person who was assisting me was super laid back and chill, very easy to work with and I felt very comfortable which overall is most important. Ask for Nik, he will not disappoint! I would highly recommend you come here and give them a try. I should have came here first, it would have been the only place I visited. They also brought another car down from Temple Hills for me to view, that's customer service! Charlie in the phone department followed up with me asap from my online lead and got me in the door. They have a huge selection, I personally was pretty particular with having lower mileage usage and a lower cost. Customer service was friendly, it has to be. The draw backs were that I came in with a budget that I specifically asked for, and left with a car at double the value of that budget. I was told I had to buy the gap insurance for the car along with add ons because it was required of the loan and the lenders required it. That was not true, when I reached out to the lender to confirm my loan they asked a line of questions, and through their questions they had informed me that I did not have to buy any insurance. I texted & called the Salesman that gave me his contact info for concerns addressing the issue, but heard nothing back so I returned to this location and worked with the General Manager that helped me with removing the add on insurances. If you buy a car from this location add roughly $1000+ to your costs. They add a Ceramic Coating to the vehicle your purchase and they also add a tracking device with a subscription you can't opt out of for 2 years. I expressed to the General Manager that if they use these add ons to maintain their vehicles the customer shouldn't have to pay for them in the end and should have the option to opt out. They had shared due to the theft of cars and to best maintain their cars they must have these tools. My biggest issues with my visit is the lack of transparency; I found out a lot of important information AFTER I ran my credit that may have impacted my decision making if I was informed prior. Lack of communication, what's the point of offering your business card if you don't respond to a call or text at all, when I returned to the location a few days later I saw the same sales men so it was awkward. Misleading information; being told I absolutely had to have their insurance when I didn't, I came back multiple times to resolve this issue to have it all removed, if there was more transparency I may have opted into getting the insurance but my experience felt too shady to trust the sales men. The return policy was something they weren't clear about you MIGHT be able to return the car you may not be able to. You MIGHT be able to exchange the car just ensure you bring back the car with less than 500 miles added & within 7 days. Your down payment MIGHT be turned into a store credit that will be there once you're ready to buy. When I've purchased at CarMax they give you a month, and you can add 1500 miles, if you don't like the car you can just return it; there needs to be more flexibility around this return period.
