I feel this should have been indicated to me during booking. However, during my short stay of two nights, I was treated extremely well by the wonderful concierge, Amanda. She was delightful to speak with and made my stay with my young daughter a delight. She is full of exuberance and clearly loves her job. It should be noted that the property does not offer stairwell access within the accommodated areas. That is, there is no stair access up to your room from the lobby, rather, only a staircase to leave without re-entry. This made the stay a little arduous with a child that refuses to travel in elevators.

Two minor annoyances - 1. Please do as they ask and put away the phones. It is distracting for other guests 2. Don't reserve chairs by the pool for a long time by leaving your belongings there. Some folks did it for over 3 hours while we were there. So not fair to other guests. Otherwise, a wonderful spot and great staff. Note - Do take your epi pen if you are allergic to bees/wasps. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were fluffy. It was very difficult to get out of bed! The innkeeper, Rob, was extremely friendly and offered tips on great places to eat in the town. The rooms have kitchenettes, keurig coffee makers, bathrooms, televisions, and phones. There are other rooms in the inn but it was so quiet we couldn't tell there were other guests staying there. I love this place so much! My husband and I are only sad that we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the rest of the town. We will definitely return soon! I highly recommend this inn to anyone. Definitely a gem in Port Perry.

There was no room inspection at check-in or checkout, and no proof was provided to show when or how the damage supposedly occurred other than the housekeeping crews word that they had checked the rooms prior to our arrival. When I reached out for answers, the front desk manager, Ally, was evasive and unable to provide any documentation or a clear explanation for the charge. Ally admitted that they have no written policy regarding incidentals or damage charges despite being part of the Hilton franchise. There is no transparency, no standard process, and no accountability. Since this location does not provide you any written documentation for signature upon arrival, once you press the green button on the keypad, you're at the whim of the management of this location. That said, the rest of the staff of the hotel was accommodating and respectful.

It's a kind of secluded area so it felt safe as well. There aren't too many options for places to stay in the area. Once there are two towels, two hand towels and two face washers stacked on the one rail, everything has to be moved for use. There are no shelves or rails or hooks anywhere else in the room so when you shower you leave your clothes on the toilet lid. If you want to hang the hand towels somewhere after use, the bath towels are in the way. Considering the size of the bathroom which is adequate, another rail or hook on the door would have made the whole experience perfect. There is a no smoking sign on the door, however smoking is allowed on the balcony, evidenced by a dirty ash tray on the table in the centre. Love the quirky ceiling fan on the balcony.
