The Pineapple Patio - Decorate your soul

The Pineapple Patio

I remember reading Yelp Reviews for The Pineapple Patio and thought what a trendy idea. I wanted to…read morecheck out the Pineapple Patio and had this place bookmarked. This was a year ago, I didn't get a chance to until recently. I wanted to check out Sweet Mango's showroom which happens to be at The Pineapple Patio. From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk. I read that it is best to check Instagram/social media's Pineapple Patio page for the upcoming events. What a great idea and great place to get your shopping done!

Look for the pineapple sign on the left side of King Street. There are about 10 parking stalls underneath the patio and street parking on King Street. This place is used for small start up businesses such as clothing and jewelry. It's a good place to have pop up events on the open patio or in their room. Another thing that I'm thinking about is possibly holding a bridal shower here in the future. Looks like a perfect venue to rent out and cater food at. (Not necessary to get catering, but definitely an option) They also rent out their furniture and plants that they have showcased around the patio. Super cute place and hope to be back soon!

Yes, we were intoxicated, but enough to comprehend that this place would never be rented by us again! This place is 100% needs to be shut down and I will do everything in my Will to make sure that this happens! This place is an illegal After Hours drinking spot. Look them up on TikTok to see what I am talking about and how their staff acts! After having a conversation with the management, he then fired his staff on the spot because of what has been going on! Stop lying! Because I am not going anywhere! This was 100% unacceptable and you did nothing to make it right that night! The sound system went off, the AC was shut off and we stayed in a freaking hot ass room! The back room where we went to speak to the staff about this. Where we were told to speak to the staff about this had people high off of their mind passed out.! super sad environment! This place is not for families to rent! We have to send the management back his contract for him to know what was on there! He had no idea that the set up was from 8 to 11. When we got upstairs, we were told to set up and they would clean after we left to go home and get ready.. we set up in a dirty place! Super SAD! Nothing about this place screamed professional! ***4.5 STARS*** The…read moreother month I was invited to a so-called "retirement" party that ended up being a celebration of a blessed marriage with family and friends. This is a dear former colleague of mine where I saved the date. When I formally received the invitation I saw the venue and asked myself "Where is that?" Oahu Veterans Center (OVC) is a conveniently located venue in the Salt Lake area which has 2 large halls to host gatherings. They are adjacent to ample parking where it was super crowded that day but the grounds were marked to facilitate overflow of cars for those who arrived later. It was my first time here at OVC where I found the venue spacious, clean and the grounds well kept. I initially went to the wrong party as I didn't know there are several halls here. While standing in line I realized it was for a high school graduation party which clearly wasn't the event I was invited to. I made my way to the other hall where I saw a large banner with my friend's name. There's a kitchen that's adjoining to the hall. Food that evening was catered by Guieb Cafe. Our meal was buffet style where the kitchen sure came in handy with food being replenished periodically throughout the event. It was warm outside that day but the venue has decent air conditioning where we sat down in comfort throughout the event during dinner, slide show and hula performances. Overall, a great first time at OVC where I'd be game for a return visit. This is definitely a venue I'd consider if I wanted to host an event.

This one is located in the salt lake area and the name is Oahu Veterans Center the other off sand island is the Disabled Veterans Center. We were surprised when we got there it has a park and large parking area. The hall is air conditioned and the hall was clean with large restrooms located outside of the hall. They brought in their own food and pupu and they had shave ice, pop corn, cotton candy, pork hash and full bar! Restroom was clean and handicap accessible.
