Amazing experience, amazing services, and amazing tech Nicholas! Will absolutely use Mr. Appliance Service again!

He said…read moreI needed to replace a part which he then replaced for me and told me would solve the problem. I noticed water at the bottom again and Eberhardt sent another tech two days later. He did some computer testing and said everything seemed fine and there is always that amount of residual water at the bottom. I asked why the first tech didn't just tell me that and was told " no one had probably ever asked that question before". Unfortunately I'd already paid them. I feel like they were dishonest with me. Not a good experience at all!

No problems. Return technician shows up TWO MONTHS LATER and refuses to fix dishwasher without someone over 18 present. This is TERRIBLE service. Why enter the fist time, but refuse the second. We even told him it is fine to go ahead and repair the dishwasher. This company made NO DISCLOSURE beforehand that someone over 18 needed to be present. This is TERRIBLE service. Waiting months for down appliances to be repaired and then to leave over something like this. As if a few months age makes ANY difference. If going to make requirements like this they MUST be disclosed beforehand.

Great. They have a gigantic selection of quilting and fabric…read morepattern tools, as their focus seems to be more embroidery and long-arm quilting centered. The staff is knowledgeable PLUS they fix sewing machines here, which is extremely important if you have an older machine that needs a tune up or a repair. My dream would be for them to stock more exotic fabrics, like fleece, faux furs, vinyl, sheen fabrics etc. as there is a huge void being left from the closing of joanne fabrics for costume makers that need to see and feel fabrics before purchase, but that may just be a dream of mine and may not be their business goal. I'm definitely going to try one of their classes or "open-sew" sessions and bring my new computerized machine.

We cannot say enough good things about Christian. He was polite, approachable, well-mannered, very informative and, most of all, honest. By the time he got done with his diagnosis, everyone agreed it would cost us less to buy a new unit than it would be to dump the money in to fix the old one. That is what we did. And we thank Christian for showing us options. I am not sure who trained this guy, but he is the real deal. Naturally, we hope we don't have to see you too often. But when we do, it is Christian we will be asking for.

Date of service: March 21, 2025…read more Really appreciated that I could schedule an appointment online with Mr Appliance through their website as I tend to be crazy busy during working hours and loathe leaving voicemails for companies and playing phone tag. Jalen with Mr Appliance also came when they said they would come and resolved the issue quickly and easily. The issue was a grinding noise that our less than three year old dryer was making. an obvious sign that something was not right. Jalen suspected a potential blower motor issue and got to work on resolving it. 25 minutes later the problem was fixed: Excess lint buildup that got through the lint trip and into the machine, causing the motor to have to work harder than it needed to. He showed me all of the lint he pulled out, but he piled it up on the runner below the dryer and on the top of our glass-topped washing machine, requiring me to clean off the washer and wash the runner. In addition, it was $243 for less than a half hour of his time. If the service call is $129, that would make the hourly rate $200 for Mr Appliance--I am clearly in the wrong line of work! Unfortunately I can't really give more than three stars given the cost and cleanup from the appointment.

I highly recommend Akrit Appliance Service -- a 5-star company in every way…read more I initially hired another appliance company that an acquaintance raved about. They were not Wolf-certified but claimed to be familiar with Wolf products. Suffice it to say, I was charged for an incorrect diagnosis, an unnecessary part, and labor that did not resolve the problem. With Wolf ovens, costs are high, so this was a frustrating and expensive lesson. After a series of cancellations and a runaround about their availability, I decided not to invite them back. That's when I turned to Akrit. I emailed them on a Sunday and received a call Monday morning. The technician was at my house within an hour and a half. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the correct part on hand, and replaced it on the spot -- all while walking me through my oven and range and educating me on things I hadn't known before. He was knowledgeable, informative, kind, patient, and a consummate professional. This company clearly holds itself to a high standard. My technician's name was Alfonso, and if I ever need work done on my oven or range again, Akrit Appliance Service will be my first and only call.

Find quite literally anyone else to fix your appliances as these guys are extremely unprofessional and have no clue what they're doing.
