My old Kenmore refrigerator was leaking for quite awhile. I You-tubed "what could be the problem?" and got three very good informative scenarios showing how to fix it, but as a senior female, I needed a professional who has the tools and knowledge to fix it. I checked Craigslist for help and my first call, Frank, scheduled a repair time for Saturday morning, but he never showed up, or called to cancel, or returned my message. I had removed the food from the freezer and refrigerator, cleared the standing water and removed and cleaned all shelving. So back to craigslist. I found one who said I'd have to buy a new one because mine was over twenty years old! Nada! OK. Then I found Milwaukee Appliance Repair (aka My Appliance Fixed), called and left a message and within minutes I got a return call from Ivan, who agreed to come fix it in about an hour. Wow! Responsive, flexible, knowledgeable and efficient. My dryer went out on a Sunday night and I contacted My Appliance Fixed (per a friend's recommendation) the next day. I felt reassured listening to the welcome message informing me of their high service calls, but they would do their best to fit people in. After leaving a message that morning, I received a text message from Dalius (Dallas) around 1pm letting me know the service person would be reaching out to schedule my appointment and asked for photos of the dryer. I have got to say, having the ability to text and send photos (which allowed them to come prepared) certainly adds to their efficiency. Ivan contacted me the next morning to set up my appointment. He was not only able to schedule my appointment to fit my work schedule, he had my dryer up and running in plenty of time for me to make my evening appointment. We had a Samsung refrigerator that was making weird noises and had to call to see what the problem was before it broke down. The service we received was awesome. They made sure we had it running as soon as possible as it was icing up and they had to replace a drain line. They knew how to repair a Samsung where others would not even come out to work on it. The most-used burner on our glass-top stove went haywire over the weekend, heating impossibly hot even when turned off (had to unplug the whole stove to stop it), but Ivan from 'My Appliance Fixed' was able to get to us within a few days (sooner than anybody else I called), make a temporary fix to hold us, and then get the required replacement part and return to complete the repair the same day, for a very reasonable charge. Filled out the form Sunday evening; and received a call first thing Monday morning (along with an email as well). Dalius scheduled an appointment the next day. When our refrigerator stopped cooling, we called Maytag to coordinate service. The soonest they could find us an appointment was 12 days away!
