It's one of the new hotels a bit off strip next to Las Vegas convention center. We stayed here for a weekend for an F1 event and hubby's annual retreat with his old friends. What I liked the most was the size and layout of this hotel. It's on the smaller side with many restaurants, bars, lounges and shops tucked in. Also spa, fitness center, private poodle room lounge, guest pool and Liv theater, beach / night club. It's small but it has everything to enjoy and relax in. I find it quieter than most hotels we have stayed in vegas. Minimum walking distances to places. My feet weren't hurt from this vegas trip and that's a first! Our poolside one bedroom suite was spacious and functional. Two full bathrooms were very convenient for hubby and I. I took the main bath cause I needed the vanity table and big tub. Pool views were nice and I was glad it wasn't noisy at all. They put the beach club on the other side and it was very considerate for hotel guests. Restaurant collection was amazing, lounges had live music and very entertaining. The services we have received were one of the best in vegas! I was genuinely impressed and I am very picky when it comes to hospitality. Everybody was so pleasant and helpful everywhere we went. I really liked the modern contemporary and mid century retro style of this hotel as well. We had a very positive experience and will definitely come back to stay in the future!

The parking structure can get hectic when they are cleaning as tape off areas around parked cars making it a bit of a maze. The parking structure leads to the convention area and a lobby sort of area that connects to the casino. Everything still looks good, fresh and new from walking around. It's a beautiful place. Lots of food options to chose from. Along with high end shops to visit. The casino floor is full of the latest and greatest slots and table games. The players club offers freeplay upon signup. Check with them to see their latest offers for new players before you gamble. During my time here, I did play a variety of slots. The machines felt TIGHT at any denomination, machine or otherwise. Other players shared similar results. Never saw anyone hit something big or saw any handpays being paid out over the 5 days I was visiting. It is an isolated casino with no other casino right next to it. The nearest casino in either direction is a mile away. Best to have a car/uber to get around if you're staying here

The pillows are soft, the mattress feels like a cloud and the products are really nice and plush. It's no wonder so many people want to stay here. Service overall was good. Our front desk agent Gerard was a highlight. Really friendly and helpful in understanding our benefits we got with our room. Also gave us some recommendations for place to go and try as well. However, we had issues in service among other places in the property, notably the bell desk. We did have about a 2 hour delay before our room was ready so we dropped our stuff with the bell desk. The setup is weird, there is an inside person and people outside. It seems like everything goes through the outside people, we could only drop our stuff with them and pick our stuff up at checkout, we have no idea what the inside guy did except to direct us outside. Also, by the time our room was ready, we couldn't even pick up the stuff at the bell desk, only delivered to the room. It said it would take 15 minutes but we had to call and because it was "so busy" we had to wait almost an hour for it. The massive sprawling casino has a lot of games to play and a lot of different venues for everyone. Minimums are high for table games (as expected) but there is still something for everyone to play. Cocktail service was slow at times, but Sandra was friendly and quick as well as made some delicious cocktails. Overall, it really is a nice property with some great stuff. But it does feel like it doesn't know how to properly control crowds and leaving you like you were truly at a 5 star resort.

There's a separate check-in area for The Reserve which I really liked. It was not crowded at all. Upon checkin, they gave me a coconut macaroon which was amazing! I did like that special touch. There are separate elevators going to the Reserve Rooms. However, it is still shared with some of the upper floors from Park MGM. I know that other hotels on the strip have separate elevators exclusively for separate parts of the hotel. I really enjoyed my Atelier room. It was a little bit larger than the standard room. The distinguishing factor about this room is really the bathtub in the room. However, the bathtub itself seems to be a liability for the hotel. I have to say that someone can easily slip and fall in the bathtub. Use extreme caution when using the bathtub. I loved the European french decor. The toilet was a little far away from the bed, but I suppose that is good if you are traveling with somone so when they went to the restroom, it would be less noticable (more privacy, less noise). Since they are hardwood floors, I can hear chairs being moved around from the rooms above me during my stay. I was a little bit irked. Other than that, my stay was quite enjoyable at The Reserve.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
