One thing I really appreciated is that the salon wasn't loud or overwhelmingly busy when I visited. I personally love feeling calm and relaxed when getting my nails done, and this place absolutely delivered that vibe. The staff were so welcoming from the moment I walked in. They even offer drink options like iced coffee, lemonade, or tea along with a small snack, which made the whole experience feel extra pampering and thoughtful. I've gotten two pedicures here so far, and honestly they felt like heaven. Lately I haven't really been doing my fingernails, so it was nice to fully relax and enjoy a good pedicure experience. I originally found this salon because it was close to my office, but even though I recently changed work locations and it's a bit farther now. My friend and I saw this place on our Tiktok and we wanted to come here. If you want a really bougie luxury feeling nail experience - I highly recommend you come here. I do recommend making a reservation online - they are very transparent on the pricing when you book online and how much time everything will take. You first come in and then check in where they will ask what drink you would like. Then you go downstairs and get seated for your service. All the pedicure booths were in isolated rooms and it was so peaceful in there. (Please note - I don't normally go to bougie nail places and have been to the same nail salon for years). I got a pedicure and the whole experience was super relaxing - they bring your ordered drink for you while you are in there. It was $55 for a regular pedicure - the only thing I wish they had was flip flops or a fan to help really dry the pedicure after it was done but they just have you wait inside your pod while you wait to be done. My friend got a gel manicure which was $60 and they were super precise with the details. We both got complimentary strawberry matchas and some snacks which was a really nice treat for the whole experience. Overall - it is on the pricier side but you definitely get the whole experience with it. read more

The level of Zen Otium has is unprecedented by any other salon I've been to in NY, so they lose 1 star today. My go to place !! I love that I can book an appointment online and am always seen promptly. Free drink with your service is great!! Usually comes with a snack or two. All of the staff are friendly, professional, and quality. The manicure automatically includes Dazzle Dry polish and my hands always come out looking and feeling so much more fresh and clean. Loved this salon! The service from the door to the mani pedi itself was amazing. The salon is clean and beautiful. I got a complimentary strawberry matcha and coffee on my way out. The lady making the drinks was super friendly. I got a dip mani for $65 which is more than what I usually pay for. It has lasted for two weeks but it did chip on one nail. I got a regular dazzle dry pedicure for $55. The pedicure unfortunately didn't last two days into my vacation and I got it the day prior to leaving. read more

I really love the luxurious experience of this salon. The privacy during pedicures with curtains drawn. It is nice and relaxing. They serve you a non alcoholic drink of choice. My favorite is the strawberry matcha latte. It never disappoints! They will give you one to go too if you would like. They are very thorough. I just wish my polish did not chip in the first week. It has happened 2 times. My toes I chose regular polish and they are spectacular, but chrome and gel have both chipped. read more

Salon is beautiful. Staff is very pleasant. My nails always looked clean, however, once I switch from Gel X refill to soft gel, my nails didn't last more than a week. A few would painfully lift from the base and would need repair. The first time I did have an incident which I thought it was my fault. But the second time, I did absolutely nothing and they were still lifting. To get an appointment the same day was so hard, I had to get my nails done somewhere else. So impressed with this new nail salon on Atlantic. We've been patiently waiting for their opening, passing by it on our walks and admiring their aesthetic. I came on a Sunday morning with my friend to take advantage of their soft opening deal. Their check in/out is on that floor, but you go downstairs for all your services. The space is beautiful and I love that they offer complimentary drinks from their cafe! Matcha, coffee, etc. They even have oat milk as a nondairy option If you want a design, I'd recommend bringing in photos of what you want so they can go based off of that. So luxurious and relaxing. You get your own section for your pedicure and the chair although not a massage chair it reclines and you can damn near take a nap if you wanted to lol. They bring your drink of choice down to you and a little snack to your booth. It is pricy but worth it to splurge. I took my mom with me and she loved it. Will be going back. When I first came in I was greeted by Yulia she was so sweet and verified my appointment, and offered a complimentary drink as I waited to be attended. The drink was delicious! A big thing I appreciated was that she didn't push me to get extensions (spend more $$) or make fun of me for how short my nails are.
