Came for brunch with friends and ended up getting the garden omelette with hollandaise sauce on the side. We also ordered an appetizer of bourbon maple doughnuts. The doughnuts came out shortly and were perfectly fried and soft and the little bit of peppery bacon real helped cut through the sweetness of the maple syrup. It was OMG good! The veggies themselves were absolutely crunchy which made it a delight to eat. We subbed rustic bread for the potatoes because we love a good bread. I met up with friends to play pickleball. We decided to grab lunch afterwards, and someone mentioned Oswego Grill. I had never been there. Service was great, ambiance was great, we got a table that accommodated our party of 5, with extra room to spare. I was able to find enough vegan options to satisfy my hunger. I ordered avocado toast and a side salad, it was delicious! My friends order donuts to share, they said that they were super tasty! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. This is a really nice standalone restaurant. They were able to accommodate our large group of 15 people. We did call in for a reservation so that they could prepare a space for us and have staff available. There were a lot of salmon dishes on the menu including salad bowls, soups, and fillet steaks. I probably should have ordered one of these, but I couldn't resist their menu item called "Thanksgiving Dinner". I realize it's November and I'll be having this meal in the coming weeks, but it is ine of my favorites. Since it isn't something I eat at hole on a regular basis, I had to order it. I don't regret it. I ate every single morsel of chunky white turkey and fluffy mashed potato drizzled in a luxurious brown gravy. The grilled spears of asparagus and a small sauce container of cranberry sauce rounded out the meal and provided a pop of color, texture, and taste to a delicious meal. My husband and I always find ourselves at this location out of the others because not only is the staff totally on it but the atmosphere and tranquility you feel (especially on the patio during the Spring/Summer) is 10/10. Still have yet to try the new Vancouver location (it's on our list) but I've heard their menu differs slightly between locations so I'll have to confirm that later. Love, love, love this location to meet friends for birthdays or holidays! They really know how to make someone feel special on a birthday. Their Farrell's birthday sundae is beautiful and delicious! Love the chocolate "O" on top. Makes it look super fancy. They also give you a birthday card signed by the staff. So thoughtful! The food here is always so good. I'm a sucker for any of their wild salmon entrees. Their salads are fresh as well. Since I come here often, I appreciate their seasonal menu so I can try something different. Their menu has a nice variety of options, so if you're thinking about bring family or friends here, there's something for everyone. I usually come here on the weekends, and always make a reservation online through Open Table. I usually sit in the bar area. They have lovely booths and high tables. You don't need a reservation for the bar, but if the bar is too busy, it's nice to have a reservation for the dining room. Employees are always welcoming and open the inside doors for you as you walk in. Such a nice touch. The servers are friendly, attentive and accommodating. They now have a brunch menu on the weekends. I am incredibly disappointed in this place. I brought my husband and my mother in law here for a birthday celebration and wow this was a bust. I ordered the fruit drop martini, is wasn't completely filled, it was more half filled than anything. The one good thing was the poke nachos, they were yummy, the won tons were crispy, and the mangos were so sweet. I ordered the ribs and fries with the salad, my husband ordered the rib eye, and my mother in law the fried chicken. The ribs were so dry they were stringy and actually hurt to each, the fries were decent, and the salad was good. The steak was tough, with very little seasoning even with the medium rare cook, which they did do correctly. The fried chicken was moist, but greasy, potatoes were cold and gloopy in texture. The environment was loud, so loud, and looked like a nicer chain place but nothing overly special. Oh and the bread, they gave us an order of bread because our order took too long, the order of bread was half a roll, as you can see in the picture. It just seems so...sad. On the positive, they did take the ribs off, and our waitress was sweet, over busy so she didn't come by a lot but very nice. read more

Have visited the Beaverton location several times and have had great food and good service. This was our first visit to the LO restaurant. Arrived at the bar and ordered drinks along with receiving happy hour menus. Got our drinks and sat for 10 minutes waiting to order while the bartender chatted up a couple who came in after us-never glanced over to see if we were ready or waiting with questions. We had a nice family dinner while visiting Lake Oswego and touring Lewis and Clark College. It was literally right across the street from our hotel so we walked over for dinner. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and our server took us to our table. Such a wonderful server, professional and friendly. She quickly got us waters to start and asked for our order. The ambiance is on the darker side and would be a great place for a romantic dinner out for two. We had a lovely dinner! The stuffed chicken had an Alfredo sauce with a strong taste of capers which was lovely. The chicken was cooked to perfection not too dry. The noodles and asparagus which accompanied the chicken were also very good. My son had the beef bourgeois and he ate it so fast there wasn't much time to ask how it tasted lol. He said it was very good. My husband had the wild salmon on a plank which was perfectly cooked and asked for a substitution of mashed potatoes instead of the rice. We had a relaxing lunch at Oswego Grill this past Tuesday. Sat outside on the front patio, which wasn't very crowded at 2pm. The only annoyance was the traffic below but the weather was perfect and considering what is going on in the world right now, we had a wonderful meal. Our waiter was a comedian and kept us entertained with anecdotes and jokes. He and my husband are cut from the same cloth, apparently. Water & iced tea were brought and our meals very quickly followed. The menu is very much like Copper River Restaurant as both are owned by the same group, so we knew what to expect. They feature signature dishes like Fresh Seared Sesame Ahi, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Bone-In Rib Eye, Danish Baby Back Ribs, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Parmesan crusted sole and Stuffed Salmon. Plus sandwiches, salads, burgers, bowls, etc. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Kids menu is good too. I had the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad ($17.99): crisp greens, smoked bacon, halved cherry tomatoes, avocado, egg and bleu cheese crumbles, tossed with a creamy bleu cheese dressing. It was very good but was more of a chopped salad rather than the composed look I'm used to in a Cobb. It was a very generous portion and I managed to eat the entire bowl. A little French bread on the side would have been a nice addition though. My husband is a creature of habit and got the Grilled Salmon Bowl like he had at Copper River ($18.99): roasted sweet potatoes, fresh avocado, candied walnuts, blueberries, mango, peach quinoa and kale with a tangy lemon vinaigrette. What more could you ask for? On the way home, we decided that Oswego Grill should be a regular spot for us, especially when the weather is nice. We'll try the back patio next time to get away from the traffic noise out front. BTW, you can bring your doggo. The waitress at the next table brought a big bowl of fresh cold water and a snack for a cute little Welsh Corgi behaving nicely. No stairs to either patio or the front door. I'm using a rollator these days and knowing that ahead of time is important. Lots of tables with chairs as well as booths if that's an issue for you too. I ordered the steak salad with Brussels sprouts, and honestly, it missed the mark. The steak itself was good, but the Brussels sprouts lacked seasoning, and the lettuce was chargrilled--chargrilled lettuce is just not it. It tasted burnt, not bold. The dressing didn't help either. This dish needs a rethink. Maybe start with a bed of curly kale, add some diced tomatoes, onions, maybe a punch of blue cheese--something. As it stands, it doesn't work. Time for a revamp. read more

A perfectly good restaurant that has the potential to be great, as it struggles a bit with consistency, an identity crisis, and the challenge of mastering an unnecessarily diverse menu. Want a full rack of baby back ribs? Check. Ahi Poke? Check. Fish tacos, chicken pot pie, or Filet Mignon? Check, check and check. The atmosphere is fine--nicely casual. The vibe of an upscale Ruby Tuesday's. We have had both dinner and lunch here. They do nice salads and appetizers. In particular, the arugula, pear and Gorgonzola salad, salmon harvest bowl and tuna poke nachos. They were all richly satisfying and balanced nice flavor profiles. We have also sampled a wide array of entrees--the Danish Baby Back ribs, Jumbo Prawn and Risotto, Ahi Poke and Fish and Chips. The ribs were good, but honestly, I have had comparable ones at a certain chain family restaurant that used to specialize in BBRs back in the 90s. The prawn dish was solid but oddly lacked actual risotto--instead, some sort of clumpy rice pilaf (my wife likened it to Rice-A-Roni) was substituted. Very strange. Notably, a similar rice pilaf dish was also offered as "Paella" for a lunch special on another day, this time with mussels and salmon added. It was tasty, but wasn't really what was being billed. The fish and chips were also fine, but did not stand out in any way. The poke dish received satisfactory marks from my daughter. We had a fantastic dessert here as well--homemade cookies made to order and ice cream. Well worth the wait. Service has been inconsistent overall. Coldly cordial and not particularly attentive on one dinner occasion, as if our server had made particular assumptions about my family. However, we found the lunch staff to be delightful. In sum, we found this to be a tale of two restaurants. Great starters, salads and bowls while less successful entrees. Worth a look. (4 stars). read more

The fish tasted like dead fish on the sides. The rice and asparagus was good though. Solid 3/10 Another got the ribs - they were $55 and definitely not worth it.
