I had been using another tree service over the…read morepast 10 years or so, and although they were always top-notch as far as their service, they were much more expensive - ridiculously so, I've since discovered. I won't name them because they are also very good at what they do. But I wouldn't recommend them unless price is of no importance to you. Edgar gave me an incredibly fair price to take down two large Silver Maples (approx. 40' and 50' tall) and haul away all of the debris. They were careful to not disturb our yard (which just had new sod put down this past Spring), and carefully replaced everything that they needed to move. Due to certain logistics regarding where the trees had been located, I couldn't have the stumps ground. But Edgar was able to saw the stumps down practically to ground level. I really can't say enough good things about Edgar and his crew or recommend them highly enough. They were on-time, considerate and thoughtful, attentive to detail, and highly efficient. I will be using King Tree Services from now on for all my future tree care.

Tonya kept in touch with scheduling after accepting the quote and shared their business license and insurance. On the day of work, it was great to have David lead the project work. He knew exactly what needed to be done and was respectful to conflicts on my personal calendar during the day. The crew showed up around 12pm and were done around 3:30pm. Not only was the work completed efficiently but for a really good price compared to other providers. The crew also left the site clean as a whistle. We said okay and he set up a Saturday for the reschedule. On Saturday, his mother called and said he was running 3 hours late because he was doing 4H with his child. I said okay. We called them back and no answer we left a message that we couldn't wait around all day and to try for the following week. No call came. We called again despite reservations with how unreliable they were, and left a message to let us know if they were still interested in the business. The mother called and left a message last night that she had time "sometime" today, wednesday, or Saturday. We were done with them and decided they were extremely non commital, unreliable, and Unprofessional. Then the mother called this morning and offered today or Saturday. I told her for the 3rd time we cant do weekends for estimates. And that we need a morning like 9 am appointment. She seemed put off by it and offered 9-10 some morning. I told her that we need to work and cant wait around for Gordon or Cody for an hour to give us an estimate. She said she'd call them and call me back in 10 or 15 minutes. Never heard from her. These people at this company clearly get leads and play games, juggling potential customers into time slots that are only convenient to themselves and will drop you if they feel like it for personal reasons, a more expensive job comes through after promising you, or they want to sleep in past 9 am on a weekday. Its a wonder companies like this have any customers frankly. Wacky experience for a company that is to be cutting down enormous trees around your home. Disorganized and a waste of your time.
