Overwhelmingly refreshed by this sweet tucked away restaurant, It felt like a mini holiday. Window seat, sun through the old trees overlooking the racecourse, good ole cold Italian beer. The decor of amber lights accentuating the softest texturized green arches and walls of what seemed like a rustic building made it into such a beautifully warm settling place to enjoy your wine, camaraderie, family and food. Even the choice of plates, tables and chairs all weaved it up into an experience. I ordered your classic Sunday roast and I would swear by it- Juicy slivers of soft beef, Yorkshire pud, even the roast potatoes were simply divine. It all looked like a sculpture on my plate. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of every parsnip and every carrot and every brocolli. As I am sure every piece and dot was well taken care of. My daughter asked for a simple brownie for dessert and she received a delicious art work. I am gobsmacked as to how only yesterday I have found this place, but it is quietly tucked away after all. read more
