Tagliata di entrecote (steak, potatoes, fennel) and Tonnarello cacio de pepe (pasta with cheese & pepper)
Sarah G.

I've had a lot of disappointing food in Rome over the years, bcuz it's too catered to tourists... But this gem had me going back a second night, and I wish I could go back again and again until I've tried their whole menu. It's located near the Pantheon and many other big sites, but on a quiet corner and never crowded. The ambiance is modern and slightly elevated, with tables indoors and out, and lounge-y music. The servers were lovely. The food was priced really well for the style, and was prepared just perfectly. Their website shows the menu and prices, but for about 200€ we had: Bread, bottled mineral water, a gin/tonic, a vodka/soda, a glass of wine, the mussels appetizer, the oxtail meatballs appetizer, the sea bass ravioli, the steak, and a tiramisu sampler.

Off the beaten path of The Pantheon and looking for some excellent authentic Italian cuisine. Look no further. The service and the food were both incredible. The ambience is just right for a date or a group.

Caprese salad, pizza, bruschetta (w/pizza slice), house made pasta, some other salad (with a bite of pasta on the right of it). YUM!

I don't understand the negative reviews, literally and figuratively. (I don't speak much Italian.) we also stopped here during a day of exploring Rome. We had a delicious lunch. I enjoyed my salad and I highly recommend the bruschetta!!! My husband enjoyed his house made pasta with mushrooms and Wine and beer were good; prices were fair, servers were friendly, funny, warm and happy to have us there (speak English well.) A wonderful, quiet (not in a bustling area), clean corner to enjoy lunch.

Our first meal in Rome! You can never go wrong with pizza with our 6 year old, pizza and pasta is a must. The restaurant is located near Pantheon and has a very charming ambiance. The food is good and service is excellent. Look for Mae, she will give you great suggestions on the menu.

An excellent place to people-watch, grab a glass of wine and an appetizer. We stopped by in an afternoon exploring Rome, it was a wonderful place to get a glass of wine, salami and cheese board, for two. Sitting outside was beautiful with open air sliding doors to inside, and we could hear the accordion players in the background - love.

Spinach and ricotta ravioli and beef Ragu lasagna

We stumbled upon this place for dinner our first night in Rome. We had a delightful meal and had great service. The selection wasn't huge, but it had everything we wanted to eat. My raviolis were filling and delicious. My husband loved his lasagna. We got here around 7:00 on a Friday, and it was fairly empty, but by 8:00 us was popping! I would recommend this little gem to anyone by the Pantheon!

Very much like the food and service. The best bean soup I have ever had. And I've loved every pasta dish I've had

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.

Bufala pizza with red sauce and lasagna was excellent. Seating was fast and good serviceread more
