    Chuleta can can

Be prepared- you WILL wait for your food. We waited a solid hour, hour fifteen? There is one chef who personally makes all of the food. But, once it finally comes out, the food will please. The chucleta can can (pork chops) over rice was the highlight- it had just the right proportions of savory fat and lean meat- so tasty. I also tried that day's special- a grouper in creole sauce. The sauce was a bit too much for me- but that may just be a personal preference for fish without a heavy sauce. They serve a good arroz con gandules (a savory, slightly creamy rice with pigeon peas and pork-- not quite as moist as paella- but in a similar vein). Also, be warned- the portions are the size of your face- i.e. BIG. Cozy interior and colorful/fun backyard seating, gregarious/friendly staff.

We were super hungry and decided to give this place a try. The wait was quite a bit, but the wait was well worth it. The paella was delicious. And a few steps away the beach and the view are breathtaking

Don't leave because of the wait! The wait is long because the meals are made to order! The food was worth the wait. Everything we got was more than we expected for the price and tasted great! Loved every bit of it and the waiters where great to chat with.

LOVED THIS PLACE! Our family of 9 was visiting Puerto Rico for the first time in September. This restaurant was five minutes away from our resort, and what a wonderful surprise it was. We came back twice because the food was amazing, The staff at the restaurant were very generous and kind, especially the guy who runs the place(Joe). I read that some people mentioned the time they had to wait for their food, but the food is cooked fresh and it's worth the wait, just have some cocktails while you wait! Must get chicken Alfredo, paella, piña coladas, chicken Cesar salad, pretty much the whole menu is tasty! Thank you for everything Joe!!! From the Russian family ;)

Amazing food and great service. This is one of the most recommended restaurants in the kioscos area. We had the mofongo stuffed with skirt steak and the arepas. Both delicious. Prices are reasonable and restaurant provides great ambiance.

Ridiculous waiting time. Ended up canceling the order. Waiter didn't care about customers.

One of the worst services I've ever had in my life. The owner was Rude from the begging, plus the food isn't really good

When we arrived, the main room was packed, and the few open tables were reserved. The host asked us if we'd be okay sitting in another room. I explained that we're visiting, and we wouldn't mind waiting for a table to open up where the live band section is. Upon hearing this, they were nice enough to accommodate us and make it happen. Special shoutout to our server! Unfortunately, I forget her name (it's been a month), but I remember she had this AMAZING makeup on, with lots of colorful beads in beautiful patterns across her face, as well as lovely hands with really fun nails and rings. She was so lovely and friendly, and she really made our night! If you see this, thank you :)

We only got 3 items of food: Longaniza, Bacalaitos and Octupus salad with Pulpo. Longaniza was deep friend with chimichurri sauce (was not the deep color I was expecting) tasted like pork chop chunks, octopus salad my hubby ate said it need more olive oil and the pieces were not consistent and chunky; there were pieces that were too small-he said it didn't taste bad but a traditional octopus salad. The prices were way over: Maybe other meals are worth it but I probably would not visit again
