Phantom Creek Estates is a work of art! We were visiting from the Bay Area in California (where…read morewe've visited world class wineries in Napa Valley many times), and were blown away by this incredible winery. My husband and I only had time to visit 1 or 2 wineries in Oliver/Osoyoos the day after we ran the Half Corked Marathon, and we're so glad we chose Phantom Creek (which was also recommended to us by the owner of a local coffee shop in addition to being featured in the Half Corked Marathon). The elegant angel sculptures and modern design of the buildings instantly took our breath away. Then we stepped out onto the huge outdoor terrace and caught sight of the endless vineyards. This was going to be an experience... It got even better! We were seated on the terrace overlooking those insane views, and enjoyed live music by a local musician while tasting 5 different wines brought out to us by Yun. I can't say enough nice things about Yun: she was so warm and welcoming, and though she said she was new there, her knowledge and hospitality were excellent and that of someone with years of experience. We would love to have her be our wine tasting guide again! She certainly made our visit even more enjoyable. From the Chardonnay, Viognier, and Rosé, to the Carbonic Syrah and Cuvée, we truly enjoyed every sip. My personal favorites were the Carbonic Syrah and Organic Rosé. And to top it all off, we decided to get a couple of scoops of their authentic Italian gelato for dessert. A sweet ending to our unforgettable time at Phantom Creek!

A stunningly beautiful winery that's a work of art. The path up to the winery from the parking lot…read moreto the main buildings as you walked underneath the two art statues provided an impressive grand entrance. I've noticed different background music depending on where you are standing and I thought that was a subtle, yet well thought out detail. When you were close to the outside of the main tasting room, the music was slightly more upbeat and fun. The music that was closer towards the restaurant was more spa like and relaxing. The view you get to immerse yourself in during the tasting is breathtaking. Unfortunately, due to the smoke, we weren't able to sit outside, which was a shame and not Phantom Creek's fault. We had the premium tasting with the charcuterie board and it was worth it. The charcuterie board was unique and not like any other boards we've had during our wine tastings. The staff were so knowledgeable and experienced. They were able to answer all our questions we had. Our favorite wine was the Syrah, but you had to join the wine club in order to purchase it. The only thing they needed to work on is the amount of flies inside the tasting room. I know it's fly season, but there should be some way to trap the flies on sticky paper and etc because it took away from the amazing experience as you're trying to swat away flies. We didn't want them to land on the food and one even got into the wine glass and they should have replaced it.

The tasting hostess was delightful and the weather was nice enough we could sit outside. All the wines were incredibly high quality and the experience was great - we were consistently brought out options of wines we could choose between, which was helpful as our group had different palates. It was hard to limit my purchasing choices but I left with the white Pinot Noir and the Sauvignon Blanc (which three of us bought if that tells you how good it was).

Fun to try their bush vine Syrah…read more Had to stop by this winery to check out their bush vine syrah- the only of it's kind in the Okanagan Valley. It was a nice Syrah (light with very subtle white pepper notes) but not noticably distinctive from the other Syrahs in the valley. Their tasting room is beautiful, modern and has lovely sweeping views of the vines.

They were very busy, but they were able to squeeze us in without a reservation (yay!). First, as a bird lover, I just loved that everything was owl themed. The wines were delicate, well balanced and really really nice. The woman who did our tasting was very informative and knowledgeable on the wines, the history of the winery and did a great job walking us through the wines. I fell in love with their Caruja, which is a dessert wine. They had a white and red version and I loved them both. They had lots of fun things in their store, many owl and bird themed items. This place is absolutely worth the stop! But I'd make a reservation so you don't have to weasel your way in like we did.

Most were absolutely friendly, helpful, cheery good mornings..... but we had a couple that I would not describe as rude but very aloof with one word answers. But with that said, that is a minor comment as most were so helpful. We are glad we discovered this place and will definetly be back. Highly Recommend.
