They said it was the Slave cylinder and that they could replace it for $185. I thought that was ridiculous so I did the work myself. It turns out it was not the Slave cylinder but the Master cylinder. I went back to the man and said I want my $29 dollars back since you diagnosed my car wrong and cost me time and money trying to fix the wrong thing. They told me no and were very rude about it. I came back yesterday to have my tires balanced and rotated for 20 dollars. After I told the guy my name he looked up the info in the computer and said "we had a problem with you before and we will no longer work on your car". I am telling everyone I know that these guys are crooks.

Also, the power steering would not work when the car was squealing! SO, I had cut a coupon for a great price for a semi-synthetic oil change at Affordable Auto & Tire Service......once there, they did an inspection on my car and told me that I needed a serpentine belt because my belt was old, cracked, loose and needed to be replaced as it may break....then I would be stranded. They also confirmed that this was the squealing noise when the belt was slipping. . I do have 140,000 miles on my car! ;) They also told me I needed rear brake rotors and pads, and told me there was a coupon that they would honor for that pricing!!! They were quick and efficient and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. After all, they could have tried to sell me the front rotors and brake pads....but told me they were fine at this time. I cringe when I think of what this would have cost at a Honda dealership. This service was easy, they had the parts on hand...and even dropped me off for shopping while the work was being done, and then picked me up after! No more squealing when I drive through water and braking is dependable and feels perfect! I will recommend Affordable Auto & Tire Service to anyone!
