Then, he not only painted the siding but also touched up the whole area with fresh paint. This job had his name on it so he took the extra step. He takes pride in his work and it shows. He was able to start the job soon after he gave the quote and was done sooner than expected. He also worked clean and kept me advised throughout the process. I am very happy with the quality of work and the added value he provided and will definitely call on him again.

I will be honest, we picked Chris because of the photos on his Instagram and because we liked him when he came to give us an estimate. I have to trust someone who is going to be in our home for an extended period of time, and Chris is very trustworthy. But enough about that.... his work! Oh. My. Goodness. First of all, Chris is so easy to work with. He communicates often and well without being overbearing. Chris helped us figure out what we wanted. We were really only going to add shelves and cabinets in my office, but while he was here for the estimate, we had him measure our dining room, master bedroom, and a niche in the hallway for built-ins. He drew up sketches and we tweaked them about 4 or 5 times. The designs were so good that we decided to bite the bullet and go for all five built-ins (a bar, a buffet, a wall unit in our master bedroom, and 2 units in my office). The quality, in my humble opinion, is outstanding -- solid wood construction, dovetail joints, full-height back panels, soft-close drawers AND cabinet doors, smooth and strong drawer glides. And the painters did an amazing job. The finish is so smooth! The price tag was a nice chunk of money for us (we do not have loads of disposable income). But looking at the work that was done, the amount we paid is very reasonable. I can honestly say it was worth every single penny. The indication of a good decision is that you would do it all over again, and we definitely would. As a matter of fact, we will probably have Shoreline rip out our kitchen (which is only 3 years old as our home is new construction) and go to town with new WELL-MADE cabinets and pantry. He gave me a bid of a little over $21,000 and I gave him a $10,000 deposit for him to start the job at the end of September 2021. The job it was to be completed by Christmas 2021. I stopped by his shop in Campbell in mid October to check progress and so far he had 4 nightstands and 2 mattress platforms he had started and he then asked for another $5,000 which I gave him. He needed the money and the job was on track to be finished by the expected Christmas timeline. He was to make 3 platform bedroom sets. I called him in mid November and he said he was on track for end of December but in mid December he told me he & his family had covid and he was going to be layed up till after December. Now we are in February and I called Jeff and he told me to give him a couple weeks to complete the job. Here we are in March and he brought the furniture out to the customers house and he only had the same 4 nightstands and 2 mattress platforms that I seen in his shop back in mid October and that was it!!! I asked him where the rest of the furniture was and he said he ran out of money and said he needed a minimum of $2,000 to get the rest of the wood to finish the job. So I gave it to him and told him I was upset and that he wouldn't get the rest till the job was done. A week later he sends me a email saying he needed another $8500 on top of the balance I owed him for change orders and I told him he was crazy and needed to finish the job and that their was no more money and not to call me till the job was done. He sent me over 12 voice messages and 12 texts and sent his wife by my store to pick up a check for $12,000 before he could finish the job even tho I had told him no more money. I then decided this guy was just trying to work me for more and more money so I had to fire him and ended up finishing the job with a nee guy whom I had to pay. This guy is a loser and I think he's on drugs don't use him hes a flake.
