Cristian was very responsive with us and patient as we went through the process. Brody, the owner, was also personally involved and was always available, something that we appreciated. Our bathroom remodel was a complicated, unique and demanding project, and what I appreciated the most was that the pricing was upfront, honest, and never waivered. I have done projects before where we got change orders that were surprises and we got 'nickel-and-dimed', but not with BJG Construction. There were no surprise change orders and I believe the quote was well done at the beginning, so there were no surprises. Our project was exactly on budget. I felt that Brody and Cristian stayed with us until the end to make sure that we were happy, and truly wanted to make sure that the project was a success. They were open to our vision and nuances that we were seeking. Our bathroom is beautiful and everyone comments on how unique and stylish it is! Thanks BJG Construction and team for a good experience. If you are in the market for a custom remodel with lots of detail and attention, I highly recommend that you give BJG Construction a call.

If you are looking for custom cabinets, do yourself a favor and get a quote from Brayan. We did the…read morehomework so you don't have to. Here is how the numbers stacked up for our massive project: * Porcelanosa: ~$400,000 (for semi-custom) * Other Cabinet Shops: $250,000 (for the kitchen only) * Brayan & Team: $200,000 (Whole House: Kitchen, Pantry, and all Baths) Why you should hire them: The quality is the real deal--solid, sturdy, true custom work. This isn't the "flashy showroom" stuff that feels flimsy; it's built to last. If you have a vision saved on Houzz or Pinterest, they can build it. Once fabrication and installation started, they moved quickly and the final result is beautiful. The "Real Talk" on the process: It's a very small operation (basically Brayan and his cousin), so you aren't paying for a project manager or a receptionist. Because of that: * Be prepared to follow up: The front end is slow. It takes a lot of nudging and multiple follow-ups to get your drawings in hand. * Watch the design details: Their drawings focus on the "bones" and don't always show the specific door designs. For example, our refrigerator panels arrived with only the borders and no center design--something we weren't thrilled with, but also wasn't explicitly detailed in the sketches. * Minor Quirks: If you are hyper-detail-oriented, you might notice a small thing (like a shelf pin hole a hair off), but nothing that affects the overall aesthetic. The Verdict: Once we understood their process and took an active role in the communication, the relationship was great and the workflow smoothed out. If you want true custom cabinets without the $200k "luxury markup" and you're okay with a slower, hands-on start, this is the crew. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

They removed the old random sheet rock and some plywood and discovered two rotted studs. No problem, they replaced them, saying all jobs have surprises. There was also some poorly-dressed electrical wiring, but they came up with creative ways to install the sheet rock and protect the wiring. When they applied the plaster, it looked good to me, but they went over the surfaces two more times and produced a final glass-like surface finish. They did a really good job with the details like the electrical outlets, breaker box, and windows. I thought their charge was very reasonable. Their work habits were amazing! They always arrived on time and over the three days, I don't think they wasted a total of thirty seconds! They operated independently and efficiently but would come together on parts that required cooperation. It seemed almost telepathic. They were real gentlemen, had a good sense of humor, and good taste in music, and they left my garage cleaner than they found it. If I had another job of this kind, I'd hire them immediately. It was important to THEM to do the job right. It was a pleasure to watch them in action.
