Then for some reason I had flickering lights, and Sam was out of the country, so I called another electric company. He came out and fiddled around a couple things. Again, it was a while before I tried the generator again and it still didn't work. I talked with a neighbor down the road, and he gave me the number of the electrician he uses. I called them and they came out and told me it's a good thing it didn't work because it was not hooked up correctly. I could have caused an explosion, and even ruined my generator. That company (Efficient Electric) fixed it safely on their 2nd visit. I'm out the money I paid to United Electric in the end.

Our neighbors dog poops in our yard and the technicians were out there several times to cool off and check the unit. How and why does someone do something like this?? We've called the cops and filed a report. This is vandalism and I'm making this as public as possible. I can't believe this happened.

This afternoon, I called at 3:50 when I discovered my furnace wasn't working. I was told a tech would call me right back. I called again at 5 pm. I was told again, "The tech will call you back immediately." I just called again at 7:00 pm. Finally, someone calls me back to tell me they are booked until next Wednesday. I spent the evening depending on a company I've used for years. I could've gotten someone else had I been told the first time that they had no availability. This is NOT the way to do business. You've lost a customer. And, several of my friends who use this business because of my recommendations will hear about today's experience. Wow.

I wound up breaking the igniter on my gas furnace. Lol. We had Ciamillo out before so I called them. They had someone here in less than an hour. Mason was our service technician. He thoroughly checked out the furnace which is over 20 years old. He was unable to light the furnace manually and eventually determined the gas valve was not functioning (in addition to the broken igniter) and showed me how he knew that. He left for 45 minutes to get the parts, came back and we had heat before noon. So, basically it was prompt services, Mason was very competent, informative and friendly, and I was very satisfied with Ciamillo. The price was more than I anticipated, but I don't really know what the average rate would be for the repairs that were done. Apparently the price of parts has shot up dramatically this year like everything else, so I believe the price was fair.

We had another pricey quote for lower-end equipment than Ciamillo offered. Another company said we'd have to wait because they were busy. Ciamillo gave us a very reasonable quote without the need to haggle, and were done in a couple of days. They told us A/C would have to be turned ON the next summer, and they showed up and did it when the time came. They also registered all our warranties for us without us even asking about it, which was very professional and caring of them.
