I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Pure OBGYN's billing department was…read moreincredibly frustrating. I went in for a pelvic pain/endometriosis visit and during the appointment was told I was overdue for my annual exam, so preventive services were completed at the same time. What was never proactively communicated was that this would result in multiple separately billed visits and hundreds of dollars in unexpected patient responsibility. After seeing the high-level claims in my insurance portal, I requested an itemized statement and billing/coding information from Lizaveta, the billing coordinator, so I could understand the charges submitted to my insurance. Instead, this turned into an exhausting back-and-forth where the requested information was repeatedly not provided. My issue is the lack of transparency, lack of proactive communication regarding billing implications, and how unnecessarily difficult it was to obtain basic billing documentation. As someone with endometriosis who unfortunately has extensive experience navigating healthcare billing and insurance, this was a simple request made unnecessarily difficult. While I have liked the doctors I've seen at Pure OBGYN, my interactions with the billing department have unfortunately left me with a very negative impression of the practice overall. Because of this experience, I would actively advise any friends, family, or other patients reading this from being seen at this practice.

Everyone is so comfortable with one another and I appreciate their overall demeanor. Yuliya is amazing. She genuinely cares for her patients and ensures that they're well taken care of. She's also very receptive when I have certain requests re: brands for BC, etc., and supports whenever she can. Trips to the office are quite seamless, I usually wait about 5-10 to get in (while they give you candy and have movies playing) and usually my appointments only take about 15 min. I will continue to come here as long as I'm able to!

I understand that I was running late and also that I had to sorted out a minor insurance discrepancy which took another extra 10/15 min the most. Once they confirmed all the information, I waited another addition 45 min at the office and never was seeing by the doctor. Patients are overbooked ( while I was in the office five patients arrived almost at the same time) open slots back to back in the portal and in others platforms but there is only one provider. Plus she squeeze another patients who doesn't required a full consultation (like a birth control prescription or medical results) between the ones who has appointments scheduled. Totally Unacceptable, she is looking for numbers ($). I wasted one hour and half for nothing! Don't go there if you don't have plenty of time to wait or if you want to use your lunch break for a quick doctor visit.

He answers all questions throughly and kept my mind at ease through the whole pregnancy. Ultrasounds are at a different office located in Hoboken, but it's all fairly easy to navigate. Giving birth at Hoboken Hospital with the Carepoint team was a fantastic experience and I would certainly do it again. The nurses were all amazing. Dr Ahn wasn't on call the night I gave birth, but the doctor that was there was also great. Dr Ahn popped into our recovery room at the hospital to say hello once the baby was here and I thought that was very sweet. Totally recommend Dr Ahn and his team!

But, like someone else said in her review - there are times when emergencies happen at doctor surgeries - and next time it might be you, who need a longer appointment. So, even though it sucks to wait, I'm sure it's not always avoidable.

From start to finish, they have shown nothing but kindness, compassion, and genuine investment in both my health and my experience as a mother. I was initially nervous about having male OBs, but Dr. Brescia, Dr. Moon, and Dr. Mig completely changed that for me. They are like caring dads with the biggest hearts -- thoughtful, attentive, and always taking the time to make sure I felt heard and cared for. They remembered every detail, even through 2 very complicated, high-risk pregnancies, and were always easy to reach when I needed them. When I needed medical leave, they (and Dr. Micelli) listened without hesitation and helped me navigate the process smoothly. Their level of empathy and professionalism is unmatched. In fact, we stayed in Hoboken longer than planned just so I could have my 3rd baby with this team -- that's how much we trust and value them. If you're looking for a practice that treats you well and provides exceptional, heartfelt care, I couldn't recommend this team more highly. They are truly one of a kind. (Yes, wait times can be long and scheduling is not always super easy but those realities are easy to look past given the level of care). Also, Englewood Hospital was outstanding all 3 times I delivered there, and during my son's NICU stay. Clean and updated rooms, wonderfully caring staff and above and beyond patient care!

I wanted to work with a Known Donor so finding a clinic that would be very sensitive and honor my wishes was critical. I looked at a few different clinics but out of all of the clinics I toured, CUFC was the place I felt most comfortable. My doctor, Lauren Bishop, from our first interaction displayed tremendous empathy, consideration, sensitivity, and pragmatism. I knew that I would be able to have a child with the help of doctors and specialists at CUFC. My road to getting enough embryos for a transfer was long and unforgiving. When I suffered set-backs, Dr. Bishop and the care team provided me with the space to grieve while always being ready to reengage. When I decided to do an FET, I went in with very low expectations- the story I told myself was that my egg were "poor quality" and thus I shouldn't hope for one of my embryos to implant in my uterus. Dr. Bishop had faith and encouraged me to lean into the possibility. When I got my beta results, I was delighted; I had already had symptoms of pregnancy so receiving that verification that I was indeed pregnant, really was a sweet treat. I have now graduated from CUFC with my little embryo. We will be transitioning to our OB/midwife now. I will miss the team at CUFC- the effecient check-in's; being in-and-out of morning monitoring in 15 minutes flat; the ability to email my doctor/nurse/care coordinator; the constant flow of useful information about my labs and meds. While I love my midwife/OB's practice, I will deeply miss the care of CUFC.

Phone:(212) 627-1222 When women choose a OB/GYN, they should be pretty picky, and I went to Dr. Simone for two years paying out of pocket (my insurance was not in her network) because frankly, she's worth the money. She does not overbook, which is almost a shame since the view from the waiting room window while you recline on the leather couch is gorgeous (Lower Manhattan south). Her receptionist, Yahira, is as amazing as the view. Also, she might be the most efficient and helfulp women I have literally encountered in all of medicine. Once in the office, you sit and talk to figure out your needs before there is any physical examination. She takes notes on what is going in your life to try to get a better idea of how any treatments can help or if you have any risk factors. While she can be a little bit invasive compared to other doctors, this will only be to your benefit. Frankly, I think it was the sheer lack of concern from my doctors in the past that left me so confused when she actually wanted to talk for 20 minutes before the physical. The physical is thorough and not at all awkward (as not awkward as an internal exam can be...). There is a fertility goddess decoration thing I could live without, but other than that, the exam rooms are pristine. Lastly, many women use their OB/GYN's as their primary physicians these days and recently she was indispensible to me in that regard. Basically, if you're new to town and/or tired of cold/creepy/impersonal doctors, I could not recommend her more.
