Ambience and customer is good. The inside is always clean and the decor gives you a good feel of a Japanese food place. I love their vegetable bowl because I don't eat meat as much as my family does. I always ask them to cook my vegetables slightly so they'll have that crunchy texture so that the nutrients don't get cooked out if this makes sense. Just fine. Not great. I was hopeful from the reviews, but in the end this was more "sustenance" than a treat. Kind of a side note, but relevant - the wasabi was very mild? Didn't even know that was a thing, but I enjoy the horseradishy taste, and that combined with kikoman soy packets (waaaay less flavor than from a bottle) made this a very lackluster carryout. Meh... I was underwhelmed with their sushi. But I did come in with fairly mediocre expectations (of their sushi, specifically) given the location (small, rural, southern; areas like this tend to offer up more traditional southern fare). I was craving sushi and this was my closest/only option. My rolls consisted of tuna, yellowtail and shrimp (all served raw). They were okay. They satisfied my immediate craving to a degree (or did they only exacerbate my cravings..??????) One would be better served by getting one of their hibachi bowls. Can't really mess those up. I'd go back, though, cause like I said: it's my only and nearest option (when I'm visiting my parents). p.s. ~ no chopsticks in my to-go bag.. that confused me. To an extent, since (I believe) the PROPER way to eat sushi is with your hands/fingers, sans chopsticks... :( read more

The prices on the menu are wrong, they actually charge you more sadly. I did a pickup, my bag was tied and ready to go from them, but there were no utensils so I had to eat my $20 sushi with my hands. Then after eating, I felt extremely sick for hours, and I still feel very nauseous. I wouldn't recommend this place... read more

Gave me food poisoning. Anyone coming here be warned do NOT eat their sushi. I can't speak for the other food but the food was not tasty and the service was subpar. Prior to the pandemic this place was a solid 5 stars but now their quality is seriously lacking. The way they take your order through the glass and have clear trash bags draped over everything from my standpoint is just weird. Their makeshift door they take your money through and pass your food to you through is bizarre and feels unsanitary as well. I hope this place gets back to normal soon. read more

What a great little place! Super nice interior decor, pleasant and fast service, delicious food! We had hibachi steak entrees - super delicious flavors and tender steak. (Wish they used more zucchini and broccoli, less onions!) Also tried the Philadelphia Rolls and Crunchy Rolls - really good, tasty, and made fresh by the sushi chef as soon as you order! Order and pay at the counter, serve yourself drink counter, they deliver your food to the table pretty fast and on real plates (no paper, plastic or styrofoam) and leave your dishes, staff will bus the table too. So a fast food meets "real" restaurant. Great prices - you can easily eat lunch for under $10 per person here if you're on a tight budget! We will definitely be back!! read more

The food here is great, which is made all the better for the relatively large portion size and low price of their combination plates. If I had to pick a down side to the place, it would be that seating is limited and parking is even more so. Get there early or expect to stand in line. Better yet, call ahead. It doesn't take them long at all to make an individual order, but you may have difficulty finding table space. Still, it is probably my favorite place to eat in the Vidalia area. In particular I highly recommend their teriyaki chicken. The sauce that they use is thicker than most, and their use of sesame seeds is spot-on. read more

Excellent sushi! I suggest trying the Crunchy Roll! It comes with avocado but personally I substitute for extra crunch in my roll. It's delish. Their ginger sauce is great!! It is the best Japanese restaurant in town. read more

First time eating here and I'm pleasantly surprised. The house roll and hibachi beef yakisoba were good. Interior was pleasant and clean. Its an order and pay when you come in type service. The food is brought to you on real dishes. Service was quick and friendly. No self cleanup, they clean the table as well. I'll be back soon to try their Rainbow roll. read more
