The sushi and food here is amazing. It's our favorite sushi restaurant that has a variety of other options for my husband and son who don't enjoy sushi. My son loves the bento beef teriyaki box. It's a perfect size for him. My daughter loves the Heavenly Roll and California Roll. All of the appetizers are delicious! The owners are local residents who are friendly and accommodating. Every time we go there the flavor is consistently delicious. The restaurant is small and cozy. They always give the us dessert or something "extra" to try. I love this place! I've been coming here for about a year and we come at least twice a month sometimes even more. I always get the shrimp tempura and spicy crab, it's super fresh and always yummy. The service is amazing and they always decorate the food so nicely. The mermaid roll is also amazing and refreshing. Definitely worth trying! Just be careful on the weekends. The wasabi was strong, the way I like it. The food was attractively presented on attractive china. I'm happy someone is paying attention to the details. The free salad that came with my lunch special was surprisingly good. Besides the lettuce, it included a sliver of radish and a slice of cucumber, and the sweet & sour dressing was tasty. Passed by this place a few times and decided to finally order for takeout. The menu is loaded with a ton of standard options as well as various lunch and combo specials. The special rolls have some unique options that separate them from other standard sushi spots. We placed an order for pick up both times we ordered and food was ready relatively quick. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly. When I called back the second time she even noted the fact I switched up my order from last time. Both times our order included complimentary edamame which was a nice touch. The quality of the sushi was on par and even above standard for what you expect from a delivery spot. It was ok. The reviews made me very excited for what I thought would've been great takeout sushi and I was terribly disappointed. The sushi for two had such a small variety of fish. It was just white fish, tuna and 6 pieces of salmon. All the other 3 fishes were 3pcs each and I really don't know why we needed double the salmon? The rice was also undercooked and hard. And hard rice is a hard* NO in my books for sushi. It was just a bad experience and not worth the $60+ just for one platter after tax. read more

So happy to discover a new great sushi spot in the area! My sister and I came here around 7:30pm on a Sunday and we had the whole place to ourselves for a while. The staff is super nice and attentive and we definitely felt pretty special. Overall, it's a small spot and very cozy. We started out with the Edamame and got some delicious Pepper Tuna on the house which was very photogenic and a nice surprise. I got the Shumai Soup and the Fair Lawn Roll while my sister got Miso Soup and the Sweatheart Roll. The Shumai Soup is very good but a little bit too salty. We both loved the extra work the went into the decorations on the plates with our rolls. The Fair Lawn Roll consists of spicy salmon and mango with salmon and white tuna on top. It also has kani and uses soy paper instead of seaweed. Great flavors, love the addition of the mango! I did feel like it was missing a little bit of crunch though, maybe some cucumber? The Sweatheart Roll is super cute, it's shaped like a heart. It's a pretty standard spicy tuna roll with additional fresh tuna on the outside. read more

We were looking for a place for dinner after skiing nearby and found this restaurant is ok the way back. It Has high ratings both on google and yelp. So we decided to have a try. It's located in a small plaza and it's not very big; can accommodate around 30 people. It's a Saturday night and it's fully packed with people waiting. So I guess a lot of people already know it's a good place to go. The ambience is causal and comfortable. Services were excellent. Food is fresh and delicious. Everything we ordered is yummy. We ordered sushi for dinner a couple of nights ago. This would have been our first time picking up from OSaka Ryu Gin. I was excited to try based on the great reviews and beautiful pics of sushi on yelp! The menu had plenty of options to choose from but we decided it was ideal for us to order the OSaka Special Roll for (3-4) people, which was us!! Any 10 regular rolls for $58. The hard part was choosing, we wanted it all!! We ordered regular rolls like california roll, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, tuna avocado, crab roll etc.. As sides we also ordered, kani salad, seaweed salad and aged tofu. We really loved that the Kanu salad was lightly mayo'd. The aged tofu was really tasty however, wish the fry was slightly crispier. Now for the rolls, what a great selection! I especially liked the tuna avocado and wished we order more of it. The only thing I must say is when eating the sushi, you came across some hard pieces of rice that made the chew unpleasant. Other that that, I would say it was fine. This spot is my favorite sushi spot. Hands down. They have never messed up an order to go and every time surprise us with 'something on the house' which is generally edamame or ice cream. There American dream roll and Glen rock roll are superb. Every time we go there the food is perfect. They give you all the sauces, utensils, napkins when it's to go, you don't have to double check. Seaweed salad is a bigger portion, which is delicious. And like I said, there is always a surprise in our to go bag. We use to go to Rock Fuji but this place is much better. read more

A wonderful little sushi joint nestled in a strip mall in Glen Rock. Very friendly service who really took care of our party of 7. We ordered a sushi boat, which for $99, offered really great value for what you get. The sashimi was fresh and each piece was consistently cut the same thickness. Good knife work is one thing I look for in a good sushi chef and the chef here passed the test with flying colors. We also ordered a few appetizers which were also very good. This place makes you feel at home, and it is definitely my new go-to! We were able to try quite a lot during our visit, and everything we had was very good! We started with a pepper tuna appetizer (on the house--thank you for that!) and soft shell crab which was served with katsu sauce. Next we had the Love Boat Special A which was a great deal and absolutely delicious. Another person had the Nabe Yaki Uson and really enjoyed that. Finally, I loved the Fried Ice Cream dessert here. My new go to for great food and service. It's a tiny little place. Nothing fancy but the sushi blew me away. I could eat here every week. They always have a new special roll weekly and we always give it a try. Nothing has let us down yet! The sushi is always fresh. We also get a veggie dragon roll and their house roll. I haven't had sushi this good in a very long time. I got the Fair Lawn Roll with avocado on top. We got steamed gyoza, and a spicy Kani roll with mango. Everything was fantastic. They gave us a complimentary seaweed salad and little scoop of ice cream which was SO YUMMY! They are so sweet in this place, on top of their game making sure you have everything you need and the atmosphere is very comfortable with positive energy. Parking was convenient it's right in the front of the restaurant. The prices are very affordable and fair for the quality of sushi. For the one special roll, regular roll & gyoza it came to $27. You literally cannot find a better place for sushi. We will definitely be back!! read more
