I really like this place. They have a good selection of sushi rolls and their hibachi and rice bowls are spot on. The prices are not too bad either. I had a Rainbow, Osaka, Hawaiian, and Dragon rolls. My fieance had the Osaka Special habachi ( steak, shrimp and chicken). My only complaint is that the rolls are a little smaller than I like. The first 2 times we went it was good. The last time we went it was awful. The server, who doesn't know how to talk to people, stuck his finger in my saki because something was floating on top, then said it was a rice seed and sat it down in front of me! Then he brought me frozen seaweed salad and when I asked to return it and ordered the saki salad instead he called me a wimp when I opted to get it without the fish eggs...ok. Well, we tried it again tonight because my kid wanted sushi and we didn't want to drive to Greenville. Well, once again it was below par. We should have aborted mission when we walked in and the same server was sitting at a table and there were no people in there with dirty tables. Do yourself a favor and go the extra distance to Greenville where they actually want to keep their business alive. Sorry, not sorry. read more

So I've eaten here at least 5 times before and decided to place a phone order so I could quickly pick it up on my lunch break. I told the lady that answered the phone that I would like salmon rolls and says they don't have any so I'm like ok what other rolls do you have and so instead of just telling me she says that they have a menu online..I found this very rude and uncalled for seeing she could've easily told me some key things on the menu. Food was alright but took 40 mins to get. Order crab Rangoon, never got it. Asked to take off check and didn't need it, kept it on check. Got 3 little high school looking waitresses that just talk while we wait 30 minutes for them to take one of their 2 laps an hour. Good food, sh*t service. Osaka Grill used to be outstanding. Now the service is not so great and the food is slipping, too. We went in December for our anniversary and had a horrible experience. We figured it was just a one-time situation, though, so we didn't write the place off for good. Last week we met a friend there for dinner. Service was awful and the sushi rolls were terrible. We probably won't be going back again and that's sad because it used to be our favorite restaurant. read more

I can't say enough nice things about this place. The service is quick and always correct (in my experience). The prices are very fair for the amount of food you get. Also, the place is clean and well maintained which is sadly becoming rare. I love going here on my lunch and have gotten others addicted to the place too. I am a patient person. Everyone in customer service has bad days. Three strikes though and I am done. The food is good, the customer service is not. The last 2 times I have done a call in Togo order I have had the hardest time getting through. The last time they answered and put the phone down and never come back to take my order. Tonight I tried again and it's the last time. I called for 45mins while I was running errands to place a to go order as they don't close until 10pm. When someone finally decided to answer the phone they just answered stating they were no longer taking Togo orders. I asked when do they stop answering the phones as I have been calling for 45mins. He stated since they run out of rice , crab Rangoon's, and other items the manager decided they were not taking anymore Togo orders but. When I explained I've been calling and no one answered he said there must have been a problem with the phone lines. This is not acceptable customer service. If you are going to advertise you take Togo orders then you should have a system in place to handle those customers. Very disappointed. read more

What a nice place for sushi and hibachi. The rolls were wrapped tightly and were right sized pieces instead of those huge can't fit them in the mouth that you sometimes get. Very flavorful and fresh. The service was very friendly and prompt. I ordered a roll with a substitute ingredient. When it came out I pointed out that it wasn't what I ordered. They immediately made another roll, gave me an apology, and gave me the first roll for free. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time, but I was impressed how they handled it. Very nice atmosphere. My husband & I ate here tonight & it was very delicious! Loved the Ginger Dressing on the side salad, and the Sushi was fresh & tasty. We also tried the Chicken Bowl, served with Fried Rice & Vegetables which had great flavor. We will definately be back! read more

Osaka Grill is our hibachi home! The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious and priced right! We are a family of four on a budget and everyone can get what they want off the menu, without breaking he bank. The sushi is presented so colorfully and my kids love it. The vegetables are my favorite. Always fresh and not over cooked. The edamame, soy beans are so delicious and cooked very well. I am addicted to these, super yummy. You'll never have a better ginger dressing, made fresh by the owner. We make Osaka our dinner spot once a week. The lunch special is awesome too. It comes with everything for a great price which they honor on the weekends. Do yourself a favor try Osaka, you may never go anywhere else again! read more

After waiting nearly an hour for our food, we left. The sweet tea was good, which is the only thing we got in that time. TERRIBLE SERVICE. No one even came by to refill our drinks or apologize for the wait. And they weren't busy, only three other tables had customers, so not sure why we were waiting so long for only 3 rolls and 4 pieces of tempura shrimp. Would really hate to be there on a busy day. Would not recommend to anyone. Maybe the food would have been good had we actually received it.... read more
