Last year, I stumbled upon this spot and have been a regular ever since. There are many locations, but I recommend this one because it's the closest. The Japanese food here is truly phenomenal. I usually don't like bang bang chicken, but this place takes it to a whole new level. The chicken is fried to perfection and crispy! The service was great. The food compared to downtown Greenville was okay. The crispy tuna rice - rice was very crispy. So crispy, it ripped the skin on the roof of my mouth. Stopped by for a chirashi bowl and while the presentation was nice, the fish quality was a bit average for what I expected. The $5 green tea also felt overpriced for something so simple. That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'm guessing their rolls might be the real highlight here--might give those a try next time. Let me start off by saying- I ordered at the wrong place. The way it was handled is where my issue is. Went to go pick it up, told them my name and they said okay (we were the first ones there before others came to pick up their order). 20 mins pass by, I ask multiple times about my order and they keep making me wait. 20 mins go by until they tell me they don't have my order. I try to figure out where it is, they make me show them the receipt and take pictures of it. They have me wait and another 15 minutes goes by of waiting to find out, they won't make it for me cause the other location has it. They were rude and couldn't eat or transfer a 20$ meal, mind you it is all the same company. They make me drive 20 minutes to the other location and I barely made it as that specific location was closing, cause it closes earlier. They could have told me much earlier when I got there that they didn't have my order and work through it much faster instead of making me wait about 40 minutes for me to have to leave and go somewhere else. read more
