What an adorable Japanese Restaurant in Moore, SC. You are greeted as soon as you walk through the door. The wait staff is super friendly and tries to be accommodating. I get the feeling I'm an inconvenience when I go there. I don't know their working environment so who knows what's going on but it's been every time, not just one bad server. For less than $8 you can eat like a king. That is for sure. But when you order sushi you'd better have the budget of a king. A few rolls can easily set you back $30. After trying the California roll, it could very well have you over the moon. I absolutely love that they have outdoor seating. Bring your doggy for a day out, that's what I did! However you'd better be a small person frame wise, because those seats I swear are made for children. But I got through it barely hanging onto the edge. My tofu bento box included and I rate it as: Gyoza x 2 - 3/5 stars, tastes fried from frozen and prepackaged. California roll x 4 pieces - 3/5 stars, I can and have made better, but not bad. Tofu - 4/5 stars - good flavor, good balance Fried rice - 3/5 stars - I would've liked to have seen more in the rice as far as vegetables or egg. Salad - 4/5 stars, premixed salad from The store but the dressing was very good. I had a terrible experience here. Went inside to place a takeout order, since the online ordering doesn't show the full menu, and waited 10 minutes before someone even greeted me (or the person in front of me who had been standing there longer). Went to place my order, which was just two things, and the employee berated me saying that I was confusing him. Mind you my orders were two hibachi plates, no special requests, and I was showing him exactly what it was on the menu. I have no idea how that could be confusing, but I was still kind and left a tip that I later regretted. I finally got fed up and went back to ask an employee myself and when he looked he realized there was no order under my name. I told him my order and they found it under a different name, the employee proceeded to YELL at me saying I shouldn't of given him the wrong name! Why would that even matter because they weren't giving orders out to anyone anyways? I don't mind a mistake, we all make them, I cannot tolerate being yelled at for someone else's wrongdoings.
