The food presentation was on point, and everything came out looking clean and fresh. Crab rangoons were so good they didn't even survive long enough for a photo (always a good sign). Walked in on a Monday, 3 people at one table, one person at another. Ordered our food. 40 minute wait.. They must prioritize online orders. Not safe to assume an empty dining room equals low wait time. Their crab Rangoons are ok, and different. They add extra seasonings to the cream cheese mix. The fried rice had a very odd taste to it. Reminded me of when my Thai neighbor would cook squid. Had to drown it in white sauce to make it edible. The table of three that were there same time as us left their rice untouched. I traveled all over the country therefore I have always eat in the best possible places, of all those places this is the very worst. This is not Thai food in the first place, it is Chinese cheap food, but it is not their fault, they got the clientele, that knows even less about Thai food than the restaurant owner does , that keeps them in business. Best sushi in the area. You may have to wait a bit for it, but it's so worth the wait. We generally always get the red dragon and the caterpillar. This time we also got the kobe and spicy tsunami. Wanted to enjoy some pineapple chicken fried and sushi, so decided to go for dinner on a Friday. The place was packed plus people waiting in line for take out. Surprisingly, there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and obviously service was very slow. The waitress was very nice and tried to take care if everybody with a big smile. The chicken pineapple rice was one of the best I ever had. It also was different with cashews and a few raisins that gave it texture and made it different and very good. The sushi was a disappointment. It was super fresh but the rice was gooey and the presentation was not pleasant; it seemed rush as the restaurant was busy. Will give it another try at a less busy time 4 stars are for the delicious rice but no more due to the sushi and being short-staffed on a Friday night. read more

I love Thai food so I was excited to try this local restaurant. The cuts of vegetables are a little too large and make eating curry more difficult than at other locations. Also I asked for spicy and could barely find any spice in my curry. It was more sweet than spicy. The portions are good and everything was well cooked despite the lack of spice. read more

There was no visible sign that said to seat yourself or wait to be seated so I stood and waited while a server kept chatting it up with a customer. I finally had a server come over who was a girl and very sweet though she forgot to mention her name. My order in - I was anticipating a great Thai experience!! Chicken Satay: 4/5 Stars Excellent flavor and the side cucumber salad balanced it out well. I would've like to have seen an option of spicy peanut sauce to this and the side salad as a cooler. But very well done. Red Curry: 4/5 Stars Came right out of the kitchen with perfect timing. Huge plate of steamed rice and nice boat of curry and accompaniments. I knew when I ordered "hot" that I was worried when the server said "Are you sure?". My god it kicks like a mule. Mouth on fire as I write this. That may have been the fastest I've ever gotten through a plate of rice. Wow. But the flavor was good, though chicken a little dry. It definitely doesn't disappoint! Fried Spring Rolls: 4/5 Stars Decent presentation & flavor, hot and fresh straight from the kitchen. Great deal as of this writing. Definitely the best - if not the only - Thai place around the Duncan/Lyman area. Though a bit pricier compared to better known Thai places in larger cities, this place is certainly worth checking out. Well, I tried the place again. Ordered pad thai and a thai tea. pad thai was unfortunately too spicey for me, despite my specifically asking them to make it mild. A few years ago, this place got sold or changed ownership or all their recipes were changed. I don't know. But since then, it just has not been the same. Their prices went up too much, their staff (especially one older lady who doesn't know how to smile) is curse and unapproachable, and their new recipes are bland. My husband used to get the lobster and scallops, but now he says it's too bland. I sooooo wish that they hadn't messed with things because this place is very close by and was one of our favorite restaurants for many years. Now, not so much. It's just too expensive.
