I sent out about 5 or 6 inquiries to different mobile locksmiths in the area, as well as the dealership for quotes. Ori @ OS was one of the 1st replies I received, his prices were VERY competitive, and he met me in about 20 mins - it wasn't even an emergency! He also explained the process as he went. I was able to pay by card which was super convenient as I rarely carry cash; one could even pay using Venmo. Ori is great. He called me right away to offer free advice about how my locks worked. I was having problems locking my French doors. He knew exactly what type of locks they were and over the phone determined, as I had already suspected, that the doors were mis-aligned. He gave me a very reasonable quote to fix them and set a time that same day to come over. He actually came early and very quickly and efficiently fixed both sets of doors and took the time to make sure that I knew had to lock and unlock them. Ori provides top notch locksmith services plus he is a great guy. I will summarize my experience and include pictures for you to really grasp how legit this dude is. My key fob fell to the ground and came apart. I got to keep the part of the fob with the lock/unlock/alarm/open trunk buttons...for my bad luck, the part of the fob with the razor key fell through some type of sewer on the ground (I KNOW) and I was left with no key to ignite my car as that was my only key (I KNOW)... In short, I needed a key made without an original copy to use as sample....If you are not familiar with this type of situation - It is a very bad situation. Not just because it can be very expensive but also because not many locksmiths have the skill/technology to cut a new key without an existing one to model it after. Sometimes the car even needs to be towed to their location...Enters Ori... Ori came to the location where my car was parked and he solved the issue as follows: - Used some type of key modeling tool to copy the key's measurements by inserting it into the door knob and somehow recording the key's measures. - Used a special machine to have a new key cut based on the measurements he recorded in the previous step. - He used a special software to download whatever is needed to program the new keys. - After about 1 hour, I had 2 new keys for my car.
