I highly recommend Semko for all your locksmith needs…read more I have an old 1930 classic pickup that has a 1980-something ignition switch and a 1980-something locking gas cap. I had only one set of keys for both the switch and gas cap. Unfortunately I recently lost my key set. I called several mobile locksmith's in Orange County to have replacement keys made. No one was willing to work on anything older than 2004 and especially not on a 1930 Model A. Finally someone recommended Semko saying he works on classic cars. I called him yesterday and he responded to my home today. It took him over an hour to figure out the locks and generate replacement keys. Semko had to use real locksmithing skills to get the job done. He was also very friendly and took the time to explain how the spring loaded gas cap locks. If you ever need a locksmith, especially for a classic car, Semko is your man.

He took the time to explain everything I needed to know, including what to expect during the installation. His estimate was very fair and reasonable, and there were no surprises. After I purchased the locksets, he came out promptly and replaced my old locks with the new ones. The installation was professional, efficient, and the new locks work perfectly. Haim is knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and truly cares about doing the job right. If you're looking for a trustworthy locksmith, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Alfonso Hernandez is very professional, provides accurate estimates, and leaves the area clean…read moreafter completing the work. He was also very easy to deal with. I gave him a detailed list of everything I wanted done, and he provided a separate estimate for each item. I had three locks that needed attention: the front door lock needed to be replaced with a digital lock, the back door lock needed to be repaired because it wasn't locking properly, and a new lock needed to be installed on the master bedroom door. Alfonso provided an estimate for each job. He did an excellent job completing everything on my list. What impressed me most was that he didn't try to sell me a new lock for the back door. After inspecting it, he determined that it only needed to be adjusted, cleaned, and lubricated. He fixed it and didn't charge me anything for the work on the back door. What a nice and honest guy! I highly recommend Alfonso. He is honest, professional, and sticks to his original estimates as long as the work description is accurate. His prices were also the most reasonable among the estimates I received from several locksmiths. I would definitely use his services again.

They decided to take this gig knowing the distance before he came and I told him I also need help with my back door that is not able to close properly when he explained on the phone consultation how he is going to fix the issue I told him specifically " just come and fix the front door and explain to me what you are going to do about the back door when you get here" thinking maybe I will be clear and understand better when he came. He checked on the back door saying that he will need to adjust the back door so then lash will be in the hole properly and we left it as is. I said let's fixed the front door first he fixed the front door and said that I need to pay him $195 and said he already fixed the back door. I was working inside a house. I did not see him walking to my back door, fixing the back door and he now wanted to charge me another $130 just to adjust the back door's plate and I left with no options but have to pay. I wish the whole process was more transparent.. when I question about the work and the pricing I said I did not agree to move forward and he got visibly upset and saying I want to change the story and even said the $65 is just for him to come over because he lives far. all of this does not make sense to me. It seems like a rip off. They did fix the front door by replacing the key. So I appreciate that. However this experience left with bad taste and I won't hire them again. Nor would I recommend him to anyone. Reading other people's reviews I notice this is not the first time he did this. I will never ask someone to drive long distance to do the work without paying them, however charging more or work on the project without prior to giving a quote and getting the agreement. It's just not how you should run the business in my opinion.

A little pricey though would be my only complaint. It was $165 to open the lock and then rekey it to two new keys. Price aside, I would definitely recommend him if anyone is in a jam and needs quick and fast response and a job well done.
