Sault New England, I salute you!…read more Doing some window shopping, we walked into Sault New England. I'm seeing some very cool clothing with a military / New England vibe. I saw a tee shirt that spoke to me. I grabbed it and walked to the register. Now there's a Naval Shipyard here, I have to ask: do you give a military discount? I'm told yes! Sault New England, the designer/owner Phillip Saul offers clothing with a New England in mind. The shirts, sweatshirts and tee shirts are all focused for casual wear. It was a very nice shop and I'm happy with my purchase. Mr Saul, I thank you for recognizing military and veteran shoppers.

The tore is clean and roomy, lots of free parking outside, and overall ours was a very good experience. This duplicated a visit here last year when we were helped quickly with a return. Of course I had to buy a million adorable outfits for him. Inside Out carries a huge stock of the most precious onsies, lounge pants, shirts, and other clothes for babies and toddler. They had beach and outdoorsy themes that were perfect for what I was looking for. They also carry women's and men's clothes, jewelry, knick knacks, candles and other gifts. It's a great one stop shop for gift buying with super friendly staff. They offered to take my items to the register while I finished shopping. One of my favorite boutiques in town.

I left and told him he should move the shirts but walked back in shortly after to take a picture of the display because I frankly believe the cashier should have given me the deal. I have worked in customer service as a cashier and that is exactly what my manager would've had me do because that is OUR mistake to have displayed the wrong price. When I walked back in they had already taken the sign down that ONLY said "19.99", which was where the blank white paper is next to the "tops" sign. Great. Thank you for fixing your mistake I guess.

As I haven't shopped in awhile and live in the land that Summer is essentially year round I obviously spent a little more time finding what I needed. Found a nice dress for my Mom. Classic lightweight denim with two pockets on the front she will love. Now for me a great white blouse with puffy sleeves I love it as I had seen it in their catalog earlier this year. A classic pair of khaki lightweight pants and a green and white gingham skirt. Also I got a lavender necklace that was drastically reduced. When I got to the register I was sad to see not too much in the way of sales. Also the clerk was not to willing to give up the discount card that you get after you purchase. It needs to get stamped now two more times to get 20 percent off. Geez J Crew what happened to you I gotta really work to get a break here.

I then decided to shop around the store and asked another employee if she could look for a pair of shoes in my size out back and after about 10 minutes I started looking around for her and found that she was talking with friends/off the clock employees. And to top it off the store was messy and dirty. The amount of dust bunnies on the floor was repulsive. Obviously the staff does not care about any type of professional appearance. I love J. Crew but that store needs to be gutted and restaffed with people who actually care about customers, their time, and their money.

I was drawn in to Hazel by some casual pull on pants, perfect for the kind of traveling I do, on their sale rack. Though I didn't get them, I tried on loads of clothes while my husband had a long and extremely enjoyable conversation about music with the absolutely wonderful sales clerk. Truth be told, all of the brands I tried on are national and could be gotten anywhere but I did end up with one pair of pants at a great sale price. Veering away from the sale rack I noticed an excellent curated collection of jewelry, shoes, scarves, and clothes.
