Fast forward to today, I went to pick up the pants and the lady I'd spoken to on the phone was there and she turned out to be the manager. I think I stayed close to an hour there! I've never had a retail experience like this, where someone is truly invested in making sure I get exactly what I need and that I feel comfortable with my choices. If you live in the metro Atlanta area, find a play system from another company entirely, as the customer service from this regional distributor is atrocious. The only thing this Rainbow distributor will do with any speed is to help you pick out your play system and then promptly charge you for it. We were charged in full for our play system within a day of ordering, and then waited weeks for an install date. Rainbow would never give us a straight answer on scheduling; they always said they'd call us the next day to confirm a date and time, and would never, ever call us back. We constantly had to reach out to Rainbow for any information about our order status. Finally, we had to threaten to cancel our order before we were ever put on the calendar. With that threat, we miraculously were given an install date. In an effort to make up for the inexplicable delay, Rainbow "upgraded" our system to the next level above what we originally ordered. We were actually pleased by this because we were told we were getting a $900 improvement in quality and finish. But what Rainbow never told us was that the "upgrade" they were putting in our back yard was a floor model that had been assembled in the local display store for a month! So instead of getting a new system, we got a used one that had holes all over it because it was installed in a configuration on the showroom floor that was different than what we required for our back yard. When the installer finally showed up late in the afternoon on our scheduled install date, he hastily put the set together. He clearly had had a long day and did not care about the quality of our installation. He did not fill in any of the holes or repair any of the damage from the floor model's prior assembly. The toddler swing we received was clearly warped, and he did not have a different one to give us. When we called Rainbow repeatedly about these issues after the install, we were always told these items would be addressed. It has been over a year, and they've never fixed any of these issues. Do not do business with this company. It's a shame, because the play sets are nice. The customer service is simply laughable, and not worth the hassle.
