As for the tux rental, it was easy and the tux looked great. When my husband dropped off the tux the day after our wedding, Cherry even gave him a beautiful orchid as a wedding gift, which was so sweet and kind. My fiance asked the employee at the front if they could perform a steam clean, add bustles, and…read morereinforce the arm straps on her Wedding gown. She tried on the dress there to show them where she would like the bustle. They said that they could provide those services and that it would be done in a month, which was fine with her. She arrived to pick up her dress on the date they provided, the dress was wrinkled at the bottom, the bustles were done incorrectly with unsightly buttons too low on the dress, and the arm straps weren't reinforced. When my fiance pointed out the issues, they said they would fix it in 5 days. And when she arrived to pick up her dress, they fixed the steam, reinforced the arm sleeves, and fixed the position of the bustle, but with mixmatched buttons and a bustle loop that can't physically fit over the bustle button (i.e. can't bustle the dress). After all of this, they still charged her the full price of $280 for the services. And she will likely have to fix the bustle herself because we waited a month and now we are one week out from the wedding.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR CONTEMPORARY CLEANERS, NOT CENTRAL CLEANERS. SAME LOCATION; DIFFERENT NAME…read more Situated on Rt 100 in a shopping center across from Bistro 24, this cleaner advertises 50% off prices. In a store that has had different cleaners housed there in the past, they do quality work. I am a repeat customer who takes my suits there on a regular basis. Recently, I had a seam separate on a suit jacket, and not wanting to throw it out, took it there with my fingers crossed. Their seamstress did an amazing job in repairing the seam so well that the repair is not noticeable. Plus, the repair only cost $10.00 and saved me the inconvenience of having to find a suit jacket that complemented the barely-worn suit pants. We also had a comforter cleaned there, and were impressed with the results. The gentleman at the counter is always nice and friendly, and is knowledgeable about the services that they offer. Now, would I ever bring an expensive rug there? Of course not! It's not a question of trust or competence. It's the same reason I wouldn't order fish at a steak restaurant. For expensive or heirloom carpets, take them to a business whose forte is cleaning said items; that's just common sense. Anyway, I would recommend this business and will continue my patronage of them.

Dropped off a full, fully enclosing mattress layer for a Sleep on Latex mattress. I needed it back…read moreby a certain day b/c I had hired someone to help put it back on. The mattress weighs 100 lbs. and the layer/mattress "wrap" is an integral part of the mattress. It's not a "mattress cover." First, they said "we'll call you" which they did not. I couldn't get anyone on the phone, so showed up. "Oh!" she said, and handed me a plastic linen bag with what appeared to be it. I got home and the worker I'd hired showed up. We removed it from the bag. The entire bottom of it was missing. They'd separated/fully unzipped it and failed to return the bottom piece. So here I'd hired this guy and we could not put back this $150 cover. I tried calling Custom FDC. I left a message. No one ever called me back. I had to order a new one from the manufacturer. The mattress's warranty is void if you do not have that piece on the mattress, all the way around. I tried calling, again. I drove down there, again. "Oh!!" She runs in the back and comes back with the missing piece. So...they'd figured it out but couldn't be bothered trying to contact me? I explained how I'd needed that piece to put the bed/mattress together and this had cost me quite a bit of money and would be costing me quite a bit more. Hundreds more. She just laughed nervously, handed me a $20. I said she was being penny-wise, pound-foolish, but I don't think that got through. Very disappointing experience.
