I thought long and hard about making this review because I own a business, too. And reputation is…read moreeverything. But what happened to me here was so unbelievable, I'm still shook. Third time I go there. I've used them successfully for cleaning and alteration at this point. So I'm confident to bring in my high value items. Drop off clothes end of April. This is a load of designer stuff that needs alterations and then some of my regular cleaning. This includes an irreplaceable vintage Chanel blazer and other delightful goodies. The lady and her mom are talking about my clothes in their language almost the whole of my fitting. I take it as a compliment. My clothes are nice and I worked my azz off for them. I have a very curated closet. Get my ticket. Don't even look at it. On my merry way. Some work travel passes, I realize I've left my clothes almost a month. Go to pick my clothes up without my ticket. We have nothing. Says she doesn't remember me bringing this stuff in (it was her and one alteration was VERY specific so she's either lying or has zero memory). I'm on the verge of tears in disbelief. She's stone faced. I don't immediately leave and she's kind of like, what do you want me to do? She flips through one reel of clothes but how do you find a black jacket amongst a million black jackets? I leave stunned. Devastated. These clothes have importance to me. Go home. Find the tickets! They are UNDER SOMEONE ELSES NAME. Go back (I live up the road). I sh*t you not, she says, oh. You found them. Literally ZERO apology. No, oh, I'm so glad we found your stuff. Salty AF. Then she has the audacity to ask if I'd like to refit one pair of pants they couldn't do before because the pants got longer when ironed. Ummm, that's a heavy pass. This place straight up tried to STEAL MY CLOTHES. I'll never be back. Shame on you both.

After standing at the desk area waiting to be helped for 30 minutes i never saw anybody that looked to be staff or anything. Unless you got coins and dont need help from anybody i'd stay away, place seems to be legit otherwise.

Single and double and quad size washers are cheaper. Place is very well kept up. We all had wonderful experiences and were so happy with the finished results. Cherry was extremely helpful in providing suggestions throughout the alternations process, and we all thought the prices were very reasonable. As for the tux rental, it was easy and the tux looked great. When my husband dropped off the tux the day after our wedding, Cherry even gave him a beautiful orchid as a wedding gift, which was so sweet and kind. We will definitely be using this location in the future!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR CONTEMPORARY CLEANERS, NOT CENTRAL CLEANERS. SAME LOCATION; DIFFERENT NAME…read more Situated on Rt 100 in a shopping center across from Bistro 24, this cleaner advertises 50% off prices. In a store that has had different cleaners housed there in the past, they do quality work. I am a repeat customer who takes my suits there on a regular basis. Recently, I had a seam separate on a suit jacket, and not wanting to throw it out, took it there with my fingers crossed. Their seamstress did an amazing job in repairing the seam so well that the repair is not noticeable. Plus, the repair only cost $10.00 and saved me the inconvenience of having to find a suit jacket that complemented the barely-worn suit pants. We also had a comforter cleaned there, and were impressed with the results. The gentleman at the counter is always nice and friendly, and is knowledgeable about the services that they offer. Now, would I ever bring an expensive rug there? Of course not! It's not a question of trust or competence. It's the same reason I wouldn't order fish at a steak restaurant. For expensive or heirloom carpets, take them to a business whose forte is cleaning said items; that's just common sense. Anyway, I would recommend this business and will continue my patronage of them.
