She recently moved to Paoli, and while I am still in Bryn Mawr, I continue to take all of my tailoring and dry cleaning to Mrs. Lee. I would follow her anywhere and will never trust anyone with my things. Mrs. Lee is incredibly courteous, always has my things done faster than estimated and could make a red carpet dress or outfit (for both men and women for that matter) out of a piece of paper towel. She is the very best. Her company is top-notch and I will never go anywhere else. I can't say enough about Mrs. Lee and Touch Cleaners. If you need a pair of pants hemmed, or a beaded, layered, complicated wedding dress altered in any way, go to Mrs. Lee at Touch Cleaners. She has a gift. Incredibly reasonably priced too. ~Love to Mrs. Lee and her awesome team! Cindy

Third time I go there. I've used them successfully for cleaning and alteration at this point. So I'm confident to bring in my high value items. Drop off clothes end of April. This is a load of designer stuff that needs alterations and then some of my regular cleaning. This includes an irreplaceable vintage Chanel blazer and other delightful goodies. The lady and her mom are talking about my clothes in their language almost the whole of my fitting. I take it as a compliment. My clothes are nice and I worked my azz off for them. I have a very curated closet. Get my ticket. Don't even look at it. On my merry way. Some work travel passes, I realize I've left my clothes almost a month. Go to pick my clothes up without my ticket. We have nothing. Says she doesn't remember me bringing this stuff in (it was her and one alteration was VERY specific so she's either lying or has zero memory). I'm on the verge of tears in disbelief. She's stone faced. I don't immediately leave and she's kind of like, what do you want me to do? She flips through one reel of clothes but how do you find a black jacket amongst a million black jackets? I leave stunned. Devastated. These clothes have importance to me. Go home. Find the tickets! They are UNDER SOMEONE ELSES NAME. Go back (I live up the road). I sh*t you not, she says, oh. You found them. Literally ZERO apology. No, oh, I'm so glad we found your stuff. Salty AF. Then she has the audacity to ask if I'd like to refit one pair of pants they couldn't do before because the pants got longer when ironed. Ummm, that's a heavy pass. This place straight up tried to STEAL MY CLOTHES. I'll never be back. Shame on you both.

I did previously give this place a raving review but I take it ALL back! I can't say enough about…read morewhy you should NOT bring your garments here for alterations. Dry cleaning is decent but nothing above mediocre. The alterations are an absolute nightmare!! I cannot warn you enough to save yourself time and energy please don't use their services. Long story short- took two dresses to be altered. One needed the straps taken up and the other needed the hem taken up. When I dropped off I asked if it could be done by a specific time and they promised it would. Well what do you know, right as I am on my way to pick up they call and say they left the dress at "home". Seriously? I told them I needed it that day for a wedding. So I wait the extra couple of hours and go get my dresses. First dress that they took the straps off they totally butchered and made if WAY too short and it was not done as we measured, they also took a short cut and cut the straps instead of the normal tuck under so the dress is ruined. This beautiful dress can no longer be worn. Second dress, which cost me a lot to TAKE THE HEM up was a shotty job- rips frays and all. Take a look at the pictures and tell me you think this is a decent quality hem. Seriously cannot believe I trusted them with this simple job. I could have done a better job. Worse part of the whole experience was the owners nwphew who was the only one working told me there was nothing they can do. He didn't even look like he cared. It was unbelievable how bad the customer service was and how they didn't care. The owner didn't care either. Moral or the story is that dry cleaning here is a maybe at best but DO NOT have alteration done here unless you want your clothes butchered!

I dropped off multiple items to get dry cleaned, and specifically said that I would need the items by Thursday morning as I was planning on leaving town Friday morning and needed the items to take with me. (For context I drop the items off on a Saturday morning.). When I went Thursday morning, they did not have all my items, I ended up having to cancel an appointment to make it back Thursday before they closed at 5pm in order to pick up the remaining item after I called them multiple times and was told they would "see" if the item would be available. This is not the first time this has happened there. Because it's a family owned business, I have given them multiple chances to do better and for me the last straw was the owner literally yelling at me to get out, when I gently asked if she would consider reducing the cost of the dress cleaning ($26) for the inconvenience of having to come back for one item. The woman yelled at me like I had suggested she refund my entire almost two hundred dollar service. I will NEVER be going back here, I had originally lived this area and have never dealt with such rude behavior in the service industry.

In a store that has had different cleaners housed there in the past, they do quality work. I am a repeat customer who takes my suits there on a regular basis. Recently, I had a seam separate on a suit jacket, and not wanting to throw it out, took it there with my fingers crossed. Their seamstress did an amazing job in repairing the seam so well that the repair is not noticeable. Plus, the repair only cost $10.00 and saved me the inconvenience of having to find a suit jacket that complemented the barely-worn suit pants. We also had a comforter cleaned there, and were impressed with the results. The gentleman at the counter is always nice and friendly, and is knowledgeable about the services that they offer. Now, would I ever bring an expensive rug there? Of course not! It's not a question of trust or competence. It's the same reason I wouldn't order fish at a steak restaurant. For expensive or heirloom carpets, take them to a business whose forte is cleaning said items; that's just common sense. Anyway, I would recommend this business and will continue my patronage of them.
