This family run Italian restaurant is located right opposite the Victoria and Albert Museum making it a great stop for lunch. This place serves good pastas and delicious desserts. The portions are generous and good value for price. Service is attentive and friendly with the Italian waitstaff and owners.. IMO ~ Molto Bene!

Delightful and cozy. Came here after a long day of travel followed by a long day at the Natural History Museum. The atmosphere is warm and the food feels simple with complex flavor. I had the tagliatelle and the sauce was rich and went well with the 3 meat blend on top. Very close to a tube station as well.

Orsini is a friendly little Italian restaurant with a laid back and cosy atmosphere. I've only ever visited for lunch and we're usually surrounded by smart families, shoppers and museum goers as it's only a couple of minutes from exhibition road. I like the food here because they keep it plain and simple, emphasising good produce and fresh flavours. The pasta is particularly nice and they do a really good gnocchi in white wine sauce. There are also daily specials and today i tried the chickpea soup that was very wholesome although it did only come with one small bread roll that was a bit disappointing. The coffee is great and of course they serve the Italian staple beverages; big, glass bottles of chilled San Pellegrino and strong coffees. The creamy hot chocolates are fab too. It's best for a quick brunch before hitting the shops as there service can be very quick if you tell them politely that you're in a rush. Three of us went in today and ordered prosciutto and mozzarella panini's, that were made with lovely warm crispy baguettes. More importantly, we were done and dusted in half an hour, even though the restaurant was full.

    Bruschette for starters!

Was walking around after a full day of exploring and came across this little place. I looked it up on yelp and since they had decent reviews I decided to go in. I was greeted promptly by a very sweet Italian waiter. I got the menu and after a while of deciding what I wanted, I ordered a special seafood risotto and bruschette for starters. The bruschette comes with chopped tomato, an olive paste, and delicious roasted garlic. Each item complemented the other very well. Did I mention that the bread was delicious? Crispy, warm, and light. The seafood risotto came with prawns, calamari and the sauce was this creamy tomato sauce. It was topped with capers, which I felt wasn't needed but still AMAZING. All of this came to about £20, which I felt was much only because the food took a significantly long time to arrive. After I was done with my bruschette, I literally felt like I waited a solid 30 minutes for the risotto to come out. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious but I did wait a while. The risotto was also piping hot, so I wasn't quite as peeved, since it seemed like it was made fresh. My other gripe was that the service was subpar. All the interactions I had with the staff consisted of them having to come to my table. For example, seating me, taking my order, giving me my order, and giving me my bill. No one came to ask if I wanted anything else to drink or to see if I was doing ok, even though the table next to me had plenty of that action. With that all being said, the food was still fabulous and I'll give them some slack cause that's what Jesus would do. Overall, is definitely come back if I was given the chance.

Excellent quality Italian food! Our family had home-made pastas, seafood soup, and salmon. All food was delicious! We came in at atypical hour (15:30) and there were no people in this otherwise busy spot. The service was impeccable!

Delicious Italian food. I'm usually not a fan of risotto because I don't like the mushiness of typically, poorly cooked risottos. But, Orsini does them right. If anything, the risotto was undercooked, which is perfect for me because I like my rice on the harder side. The seafood in the risotto was also very fresh and well mixed into the sauce. -- taste / 5 aesthetics / 4 vibe / 4 service / 4 price for quality / 3 OVERALL / 4

Fantastic Italian. Not the largest restaurant, but awesome fresh fish dishes and authentic Italian food. Highly recommend and especially good after a day at the Victoria and Albert

However, I need to warn my fellow Yelpers to stay away from Oliveto if you value Good Pizza! I mean, how hard is it to have good pizza!?! It is a simple staple which I have enjoyed in the US, in China and yes even in Italy. At it's most basic, it should be dough, sauce (doesn't have to be tomato necessarily), mozzarella and maybe some toppings, right? Here is where Oliveto went wrong for my mother and me: 1) they use cheap cheddar cheese - not mozzarella! 2) not a lot of sauce, maybe just enough to color it 3) the dough was soggy and didn't rise (I actually like thin crust, but this was inferior doug and 4) topping that were not as advertised, i.e. prosciutto should not look like and taste like store-bought sliced ham! Service was okay - the men like to talk about customers in their native tongue, thinking that patrons don't know what they are saying about them. We were so glad that we split a pie - most tables got a pie per person. Neither of us could finish this "pizza" honestly. Perhaps the only redeeming thing are the prices - this might be the cheapest choice in an otherwise expensive neighborhood.

It's a quaint little Italian spot in the heart of London and it's a wonderful place to spend, especially at night. We ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, the Strozzapreti Boscaiola, and a Bellini and Mimosa to go with our dinner. The food took just a little while to get here but I was sure that it was because they were taking their care with every dish the chefs made. I was right. The pasta was fresh, the sauce and the ingredients tasted very simple and hearty. It all tasted like my hypothetical imaginary nonna made it. The drinks were very good too and complimented the food nicely. Our waiter was absolutely the nicest guy ever. He was very attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything. In my head, I was going to tip him well, and then when we got the check, there was no option to tip. God save the UK. America could learn a thing or two about what it means to not make life all about work. That's beside the point. If you're in London, visit Bon Gusto. I can't wait to come again and happily hand them my money with the biggest smile on my face.
