Thai Basil Chicken for Lunch.
Billie M.

Oros Thai does not disappoint. Pat gave us wonderful service(ask him about Guinness Book of World Records). The spring rolls and tofu fresh rolls are excellent. Panang Curry with chicken is perfection. I personally love the crispy Thai shrimp rolls. Thai iced tea and lunch soup are both so good. Loved seeing Noe - quietly behind the scene delivering our dishes and checking on us . Oros Thai is a favorite!

We were looking for a quick takeout lunch and this place definitely surpassed my expectations. The food was deliciouuus! + Chicken wing basil (4.5/5): SOO good! I loved the sweet chili sauce and the crispy basil leaves were a great addition to the meal. + Tofu w string bean (4/5): Also addicting! It was tossed in some type of sauce that tasted super good when paired with rice. + Pad Thai (3/5): Not the best i've had but it was still good. The noodles were a bit dry and mushy, though that could be attributed to it being takeout! They were pretty prompt when it came to picking up the meal after calling in. I'd definitely come back!

31. Pad See Ew (Lunch Special)

Lunch Special Review!!! Tucked away in a plaza. The lunch special here is a good deal! You get an entree of choice with a small soup and two crispy wontons. I got the Pad See Ew. This is definitely on the more savory side rather than sweet. The noodle texture was very soft, and the beef was tender! Not too oily. They didn't skimp on veggies either. This is a solid option for Thai food in the area!

Absolutely delicious! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The crispy dishes were golden and crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

Pad See Ew, Papaya Salad

Oros Thai Restaurant The food is truly delicious; my go-to dishes are Pad See Ew and Crab Roll(Hoi Jo). I highly recommend this place. The service is excellent--especially from Emmy Tan, who provided outstanding care and service. I'm very impressed; the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's always my go-to spot for celebrating special occasions. Thank you for having a Restaurant like this.

Chicken Tom Yum Soup (L $18.95)

[Food] Takeout - Yum Woon Sen ($21.95): I've tried to find this dish in every Thai restaurant I go to ever since I had this in Thailand. They either don't have it on their menu or don't make it very good. Then I found Oros Thai and I'm so glad I did! Their silver noodle salad has a good amount of seafood, lots of noodles as well as salad! I was most impressed with their chili & lime dressing. I got this in medium spice but it wasn't that spicy for me. - Chicken Tom Yum Soup (L $18.95): Delicious! One of the few places that make this well. The chicken was a bit overcooked, but I can look passed that. [Service] - Fast, friendly, helpful [Overall] - Definitely coming back and excited to try their other dishes!

We stop by for lunch. We ordered chicken wing, it's amazing flavor and crispy... Papaya salad with grilled prawns, it's very good combination with all ingredients and so refreshing. Massamun curry beef, it's full flavor with a touch of tamarind. Pad see ew and pad Thai , they are always the best here. And we ordered tiger crying Togo... it's was so good.

This review is long overdue. I've been living around the area for a few years now and this place always popped up when I'm looking for a Thai restaurant. Came here on a whim on a random weekend and luckily they weren't busy. We ordered the tom yum, pad see ew, and roasted duck curry. The yum yum felt a bit mild in flavor and a bit watered down. The pad see ew was also mid. It wasn't as flavorful as other places and a bit bland. The roasted duck curry was good but there were barely any roasted ducks. The most disappointing part was that they didn't serve any rice with the curry. We ended up ordering steamed rice and sticky rice. The service wasn't great either. The server was a bit rude and not attentive. I would've understand if they were packed and busy, but there were only 4 tables that were occupied, including ours. Maybe it was a bad day for her and the chef. The only positive was the size of the dishes. We had enough leftovers for dinner. This place overall should be 2.5/5 but I'll round it up to 3. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future.

My family and I visited Oros after a visit from Kaiser since this was really close. This is a pretty solid option for a group dinner! We did family style and the service was good- they refilled our water and were consistent with ensuring there were no peanuts in our dishes due to allergies. Out of the dishes we ordered, my favorite was the Papaya Salad. Can't go wrong with this one, and it's refreshing when it's hot out! You can also check in on Yelp for a free Thai Tea! Just let the server or a worker know!

If you love bold Thai flavors with a lot of spice and depth, this place delivers! Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. Service was fast for a Sunday night dinner. Our food came out quickly and the staff were so friendly. We got three dishes here: spicy pad see ew, beef larb salad, and basil chicken wings. The spicy pad see ew was perfectly chewy with a sauce that balances sweet, salty, and a steady build of heat! The larb salad with beef had a nutty taste from the toasted rice and a bold kick of spice. It was super fresh and herbaceous. The basil chicken wings were coated in a savory basil sauce that was satisfying with every bite. Highly recommend this place!

57. Panang Curry and 37. Pineapple Fried Rice

Took my best friend who visited me from Southern California! She said this is way better than thai restaurants in SoCal haha We ordered a panang curry, pineapple fried rice, tom yum soup with coconut juice and thai iced tea. Everything was so good, service was excellent, we were seated right away by the server! It was lunch on Sat :) The restaurant has the unique ambiance, they decorated really nice and i like that lighting is slightly dark.

Came here on a Monday during lunch time, and so glad I did! The items are about $17-21 per entree and it comes with a soup. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken panang curry, and sticky rice with pork. So yummy!! I'm usually opposed to chicken because of it being dry, but I'm so glad I got it. It was juicy and perfectly cooked. We got everything mild, and there was still a perfect kick. The pad Thai was exactly what I thought, and the curry wasn't watery at all. Super flavorful! We got the pork sticky rice since we were intrigued, and it delivered! The pork was so nicely marinated and juicy, and the sticky rice was great too. Highly recommend, and I'll be back!

Thank you Vi! Jim

I finally tried Must be Thai after years of hearing great things about it on a Sunday evening. We…read moregot here around 6pm and there was a pretty long wait but we got seated outdoors after about 40 minutes. The outdoor seating is just a few tables and chairs and the indoor seating definitely looks a bit cuter and more decorated but we were starving and happy to take the first table available. Service was super kind and even though we were the only party seated outdoors we never felt forgotten and our water stayed filled throughout the dinner. We got the Pok Pok Phu papaya salad which comes with little marinated crabs and was nice and refreshing and a just a hint of spice, the Tom yum rice which was my favorite and a standout dish - super flavorful, fragrant and generous amounts of seafood, the green curry with chicken which was a comforting classic, and the southern pad thai which was also solid and tasty. Everything was flavorful, generous in portion size and very enjoyable - we did ask for mild spice and would probably go for medium next time since I did want to enjoy some more heat with the dishes! Overall I can see why Must be Thai is a popular favorite for Thai food and I'll definitely be back more often :)

Fresh spring rolls with shrimp we're served instantly which is always a sign they've been prepared and sitting in the fridge therefore clear wrap is hard and not soft as it should be. Patay with chicken okay but lacked in flavor. Tom yum fried rice extremely salty. In fact I couldn't eat it. The shrimp and calamari in it were okay and not salty like the rice. I ate here 2 years ago and wasn't impressed then, but my friend wanted to go here so I thought I'd give it another try. Never again. I will stick to the Thai restaurants I know.
