He actually had hired Trish, an excellent hygienist who had worked at one of my previous dentists, who had retired. I thought one of that dentist's tricks on one tooth could work again on two adjacent teeth. It was experimental, but Dr. Maxwell thought of a way to proceed that would not cost that much, but test the idea. He did it differently (by accident!), but it worked and I still have that bridge six or seven years later! Great staff, friendly wife who works the front desk sometimes. His skills are exceptional, for example, the little strips of paper he uses, he often only needs one, one time or two, and gets the right fit. Of all my dentists throughout life, he is surely the best by skill, knowledge, and personality!

Well, I can say I was one of those people until I was introduced to Dr. Brian Hazen. He has helped me in more ways then I could ever explain. He actually met with me on a day without an appointment, to take care of an emergency for me and my tooth. While he fixed my tooth , he kept me calm , and made me feel at ease. I started going to this new dentist and I have had multiple complaints since I have been going. The…read morewait time is astronomically long. The front desk ladies are most of the time short and rude. I had fillings done here and there was one lady who was the assistant (I can't remember her name) but if I seem even in the slightest uncomfy with her she would get defensive telling me she has "college and a lot of experience". She would get really rough with my teeth and pull and jerk without caring how I was. They don't seem to care about your time. I went in for a 12 pm appointment and I waited at least 35 minutes to be talked to. Then when I was talked to, they said they needed to run my insurance and not sure they even did that as they came back with just a recommendation for a root canal to be done somewhere which btw took another 25 to 30 minutes on top of that. I simply came in just for an estimate on my tooth. It shouldn't have taken over an hour to make that happen. All of the bad reviews I am seeing makes so much sense to me now. In fact, before I even went here, google reviews said 4 point something stars so I said ooh sounds good! I am not going back here and going to my old dentist since they actually CARED about people's wellbeing and time. Don't go here!

Scheduled the cleaning and the cost estimate included some things I don't need, like a $135 toothbrush and a few other random charges irrelevant to a cleaning, none of which would be covered by insurance. Also, I arrived at 9:45 for a 10:00am appointment. I was not called back for my exam until 11:00am. Then I waited in the exam room for what seemed like another 45 minutes. Afterward you are required to meet with the office manager to put a down payment on your next visit. I left the office at 12:20pm. Over two and a half hours in the office for X-rays, exam and to schedule a cleaning at a later date. The staff was friendly and apologetic throughout. I did schedule the cleaning and hopefully my office visit for that appointment will go smoother so I can update this review. My advice though, go through your bill and estimates with a fine tooth comb.

I had an appointment for this afternoon, and when I got there they told me they hadnt time for the cleaning, and i explained that isnt easy for me to get out as I care for my sick husband. They then told me after i waited to at least see my dentist about an issue, that Dr. now had two emergencies and I also would not be able to see him today either. I explained I had an appointment made through their call center, (no mire direct-to-office calls), but they rudely said they had "nothing to do with that call center."! I walked out. I have never had such rude people to deal with. I left and wint be back, no matter how much I love Dr. Windom. It's really too bad.​

Aggressive upselling and questionable practices…read more I'm 25 years old, had braces, worn retainer for 10+ years, never had a cavity, floss and brush regularly, and have never missed a 6-month cleaning. Dentists always say my teeth are perfect. Except here. It had been six months since my last cleaning, so I made an appointment for an initial exam and cleaning as a new patient. However, when I got to the office, they told me that the appointment was just the exam and that the cleaning is scheduled at a later date (opposite of what the appointment description was). Annoying, but whatever. They said I could come in for cleaning tomorrow. After X-rays, the hygienist came in, stabbed and pressed down on my gums until I tasted blood so he could diagnose me with gingivitis. They sent my X-rays to a dentist who saw me over ZOOM! You don't even have a dentist look at your teeth in-person! I was skeptical about the online gingivitis diagnosis because all the sudden my bill was over $500 with insurance EXCLUDING X-rays. The assistant notice my skepticism. She was able to get another dentist who in the office that day to look at my teeth. He said they were perfect. Shocker. I asked him about the $500 gingivitis therapy they were trying to upsell me on. He said warily, "We recommend it once a year, but it's not necessary, especially with your teeth." Perfect! So the next day I come in for my cleaning. The dental hygienist said, "We refuse do your regular cleaning today until the gingivitis therapy is done." EXCUSE ME? The one procedure that my insurance covers you can't do until I pay $500 out-of-pocket for other procedures? And I have to come in for a THIRD time! AND they were still they still had my cleaning on the invoice even though I wasn't receiving it that day! This is when I knew I was being scammed and left immediately. Secondly, my mom went there before I did and had the same experience. She was told she had periodontal disease and would need several hundred dollars of procedures and MULTIPLE visits. She decided against it and went to a different dentist who said that she did NOT have periodontal disease and did not need those treatments at all. If you're looking for a quick cleaning, don't waste your time going here because you can't even get one until your third appointment regardless. I encourage you to find a different opinion.

They called to inform me 24 hours before that the xrays did not arrive (requested a month ago). Nothing much I can do with that....Two different women were sooo rude! I cancelled and would never allow office that runs like that in my mouth :) HMMM..opposite of friendly, can't really review the Dentist.
