Adding my voice to thank Dr. Jonathan Nordlicht for his dedicated patient care which I am lucky to receive currently. During a session with him, it's instantly clear he has decades of skilled professional experience as a physician. But he also projects genuine interest and caring for his patients, taking their life circumstances into consideration as he treats them. No or little explanation of medical tests. I don't think they look at your old test results before sending in orders. A more senior family doctor there once prescribed a med he never described to me and which I had not agreed to. I refused. The place is stuffed with relatively inexperienced physicians, and it seems that all they do is refer you to specialists or dole out meds. Not preventive or proactive. The doctors are so informal that it seems like a social visit. The authority is missing. I might as well as ask Chaude. I want a concierge doctor which was what good doctors once were. If this is what healthcare for all is supposed to be, I say no.

He truly takes the time needed to get to know your entire health history, and he examines his patients from a holistic medical and emotional perspective. As the patient, he also invests time in learning your perspective of your health concerns and goals, and that is uncommon with many other medical providers these days. Brian is also eager to be a part of your whole medical team, and he will work with you and other medical providers to ensure you get the best care possible. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Some of them were very holistic, others gave what I'd call "obvious" advice ("it hurts? keep off it." which is fine when accompanied with some more detailed information, but not on its own), and still others were just not very thorough. Even though I'd only signed up for a "brief visit" through One Medical, Brian first went over all my previous visits and made sure those were addressed. Then we moved onto my current issue (a nagging ankle injury), where he listened to all of the possible causes for it and the various treatments I'd already tried. Followed by a physical examination of the area and strength tests, he didn't just say "keep off it" as previous One Medical doctors had given, but gave specific advice about pre and post-workout treatments and recommended me to a physical therapist he trusted. I'm glad to have re-applied for One Medical and would recommend Dr. Secemsky as a primary care doctor. Visit him before all of his slots start filling up!

My mother-in-law has been seeing Dr. Ko for a long…read moretime from the time he was working in North East Medical Center to the time he has his own business now. He's just getting worse and worse. He's basically getting very money-oriented. My mother-in-law was discharged from hospital recently and went to see him within the first 2 weeks per the hospital's recommendation. The day after she saw him, he got some fax from the durable medical equipment company asking him to sign so that it can continue to deliver the incontinent supplies to my MIL. He would not sign and ask my MIL to go see him again. I told him that she just saw him the day before and it's not easy for her to go out as she just had a surgery which made her wheelchair bound. Dr. Ko wouldn't care about her hardship to go to the office and the fact that he just saw her for check up the day before. He wanted her in the office or else he wouldn't sign the paperwork. Plus I saw a sign in his office that he would charge for each paper that he signs. I don't exactly remember how much it is; I think it's around $25 each. That's not it. This "doctor" also has poor bedside manner, very impatient and did not listen to patients' concerns. I accompanied my MIL to see him and both of us felt rushed (my MIL felt rushed inside the exam room and she actually just went in and came back out within 5 min) and I also felt rushed when I asked him questions.
