They deliver when they say they are going to and the technician that cleaned and serviced my burner last year was a really nice guy who did a great job and was very efficient. Today I went into the basement and heard a noise I has never heard before and realized that water was leaking from the furnace. I called Cam's and their tech called me right back and said he would be here after he finished the call he was on. He arrived within the hour and replaced the pressure tank in no time. So thankful for their GREAT service!

I would never choose this company for oil if I were you. They tell you one thing in person that needs to be done, but then lie on paper and say something different. We have had six guys here, all saying something different, causing a hassle of a mess. Then today, I spoke to Tammy; she was so rude! She didn't care that I had the tech conversation with me on our Ring cam that proves what I'm saying: "I get what you're saying, but it's not what he put on the paper!" I said, "So how come every time a tech comes out here, they lie about what they told me, seeing as it's happened each time?" Her reply was, "I don't know! I'll have to have a talk with them when they come in." I said, "Well, it's getting cold; we have barely any oil and don't want to put oil into the tank, seeing as he told me it would Contaminate it an not work properly! She didn't care, so I went, "Maybe I should have another company come out and look at the tank." She went, "You should, because we no longer want to work with you, and I'll let community action know. I'll email them." I said, "Okay, that's fine," then hung up! They are nothing but rude and never write down what they do on these service calls! I'd stay away! You guys are the worst oil company and so rude. Tammy is beyond rude and makes no sense. Seeing Tammy said it goes by what they wrote, not what they say in person, even though it's on my Ring camera. But we already found a new amazing oil company that doesn't play games and is honest and respectful, unlike your company. Tammy needs a new job, not to tell me she can't go off what I said, even though it happened in front of my Ring camera. None of your techs write accurate notes. So I will let everyone I know to never use your company unless they enjoy rude customer service where you get yelled at! So no need to reply to my updated review, seeing you wasted my family's time with all the lies and no respect! THEIR RESPONSE IS LIES. THEIR TECH LIES! THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY! THEY TREAT YOU WITH DISRESPECT! I'D REPORT THEM TO THE BBB IF I WERE YOU, OR TO THE STATE! I CAN LAUGH BECAUSE I NEVER MENTIONED COMMITTING FRAUD; I JUST WENT OFF A CONVO WITH THEIR TECH. BUT TAMMY HAS AN ATTITUDE AND WAS SO RUDE. SHE MESSAGES COMMUNITY ACTION TO TELL THEM YOU GUYS NO LONGER WANTED TO WORK WITH US. MATT CALLED TO ASK ME ABOUT IT YESTERDAY! I TOLD HIM HOW RUDE AND EVERYTHING TAMMY WAS TO ME! AND TOLD HIM WE FOUND A NEW COMPANY WHO DOESN'T LIE AND IS HONEST AND KEEPS TRACK OF NOTES! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THE OWNER IS A JOKE WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND WHAT HAPPENED. LIKE I SAID, RUN AWAY!

Great service - twice…read more I recently bought a home with oil heat, and being my first experience with oil heat, I know nothing about maintenance or even who to call. So I did some research, called a few companies, and picked Prendergast to do a oil burner tuneup because of their reasonable price. The guy came within a week and being a techie guy I want to know how things work so I hung around with the technician and had him explain everything he was doing. He was very courteous and informative and even gave me helpful tips on keeping it running well. A month later our hot water tank sprung a leak and it had to be replaced (~15 years old). I called a number of companies for quotes and Prendergast was the only one to ask me enough questions to give me a serious quote and two options. I ended up choosing the more expensive but much more energy efficient option. Anyhow, I found out later that the state of Massachusetts has a energy efficiency rebate program that would get me $300 back, so I emailed the link to the company and asked for their help. In a few days, I got a letter in the mail with the rebate form all filled out, and a copy of the invoice for proof of purchase. I got my rebate back today (took the state 6 weeks to process it) and just want to share the quality of the customer care I received. Tom, the company owner, was a great help all the way and always responded to phone calls and emails within a day.

The owner, Jason, was wonderfully responsive to all of my questions (bearing in mind that I had a LOT, given that we'd be digging within 100 feet of wetlands, raising all sorts of Conservation hoops to jump through). When I'd finally cleared all the procedural steps to get started, Jason worked with the Propane company to get everything scheduled, was able to quickly get to my site to start the work, and did everything I needed and more (even going out of his way to help patch up and smooth out some mild destruction caused by the crane truck that delivered the LP tank). I can't recommend these guys highly enough, and 100% intend to try and contract with them in the future for any of my excavation needs.

We quickly ran out of propane, and being newbies to owning propane tanks to heat a home, we weren't even sure when we should start service, assuming we'd be okay the first week in the home. Low and behold, we ran out of propane after being in the home for 5 days! We had no hot water to speak of, with 4 of us living in the home at the time, including a little one. With one call to Bursaw, they were at the house in under an hour. Not only did they fill the tanks, but Dana also stopped by to help figure out why the water heater wasn't responding to the newly filled tanks. When they fixed the issue, not 30 minutes later, the hot water stopped again. Dana drove back out and got back to our house in under 20 minutes and made sure it was working before he left.
