Such a cool place. I made a video of it for my Youtube Channel Coolest Life. I did not do it justice. So many cool cars and motorcycles. This place is a must do when in Orlando.

Excellent experience! The cars and bikes went from early 1900s to modern times! We really enjoyed ourselves! Great place to get your steps in and spend a couple of hours! There are a lot of other things to do and even grab a bite to eat! Go visit..it's worth it!! I promise you won't be disappointed!

A good way to spend the afternoon. If you have someone into cars definitely a must see. Little did I know I probably didn't have to pay and could just walk around but we paid,!like good citizens. My only suggestion some of the descriptions of the cars are very far away making it impossible to read

A very cool museum that car lovers shouldn't miss I thought the Orlando Auto Museum inside Dezerland was incredible and definitely worth spending a few hours exploring. A friend told me about it, and I was blown away by how big and detailed it is. It's easy to get to, with plenty of parking right outside. The museum itself is massive and includes over 2,000 vehicles. What really stood out to me were the themed areas--you can walk through rooms filled with classic American cars, European models, motorcycles, military vehicles, and even rare micro-cars. There are also movie and TV cars like the Batmobiles, James Bond's Aston Martins, and even Ghostbusters' Ecto-1. One of the biggest surprises was seeing the world's longest limousine--100 feet long! The layout is well organized, and each area has signs and background information that make it fun to learn while you look. It's also air-conditioned and not too crowded, which made the visit relaxing. Whether you're a car enthusiast or just curious, the Auto Museum is definitely worth checking out. Admission is separate from the rest of Dezerland, but it's reasonably priced for the size and scope of the collection. I'd gladly recommend it to families, collectors, or anyone who loves cars and history.

(Free Parking & Located inside Dezerland Indoor Theme Park) I spent a day at The Auto Museum in Orlando which holds one of the largest car collections in the world. There are over 2,000 vehicles valued at $200 million! Before you can enter The Auto Museum, you go through Dezerland's entrance. Dezerland is an indoor theme park with go-karts, movies, axe-throwing, mini-golf, bowling, & of course The Auto Museum. Of all the cars, my favorite was seeing the real Batmobile used in the film. I saw authentic military vehicles, James Bond film cars, and more! There were cars from Russia, the 30s & 40s, and other films like Ghostbusters and the famous Delorean from Back-to-the-Future. This is an excellent detour from your typical Disney trip or outdoor theme parks. It makes a great indoor date or family activity. If you're a car-lover or enjoy museums, I would stop by here on your next Orlando trip. :)

Awesome! Lots of cars and motorcycles to see. I read somewhere this place has the largest collection in the US and I can believe it. They have cars that were used in movies / TV shows, cars from various countries, and unique custom made cars. It's worth the visit if you're in the area. There's a dedicated motorcycle section but motorcycles are also scattered around in other places in the museum. The entrance fee also allows access to the James Bond Museum which has even more cars as well as an airplane. (They give a discount to ex-military to BTW.)

The museum shares space in Dezerland where there is a number of different activities to do. When you enter the museum, you would be totally surprised of all the exhibits collected. A car enthusiast would have a ball touring this place. You explore every decade almost since car exists to the most extreme of imaginable. Go and check it out!

Surprisingly, besides Mr Dezers obvious ties to he-who-must-not-be-named, this was a pretty good museum. And it's actually that, a museum. The collection is overwhelming, but the detail and time put into this catalog of cars is insane. I thought we would spend less than half an hour here, but we spent nearly two hours and probably didn't see everything. There were cars from every action movie ever, most being the original used, and sometimes there were copies of the original! The areas were split up by time period, nationalities, and type of vehicle. I truly enjoyed the vehicles from the 60s and all of the Italian and British vehicles featured. You really have to generally ignore the first set of vehicles, cause they are outrageous and comical, and can deter you from wanting to venture further. But once you get past it, you won't regret it. I may visit his other locations in Florida, but as a budding car enthusiast, this was pretty legit.

Pretty big place with kids' play areas and other attractions in addition to the car displays. They have go karts, splat ball, bumper cars, pinball and arcade. Good with kids for a couple of hrs

Citroen DS21 with a big bash to its rear door. Is that the kind of stuff you want to see at a car museum?

First of all, it is OPEN. The posting saying it's closed is incorrect. I visited today, and it was fully clear that it's open to the public. But having said that, I really don't recommend going there. Like much--though not all--of Orlando, it is a low-class place. It appeals more to people interested in geegaws or trivia, than in automotive history. Point in fact: They have not one, but a roomful of Batmobiles. Well if you're a fan of that kind of stuff, then you should go. As a museum, it is horrible. Very little signage, cars are crammed in a couple of inches from the next one, and you can generally see the car from a single direction. For more than 50% of the cars, you cannot even tell what year the car is from. There is no sign. Equally a problem is that some of the cars have significant body damage, and this is not repaired. If you're expecting some classy place like the Petersen Automotive Museum or the Nethercutt Collection, you'll be very disappointed. And it's not cheap. $32 plus tax. See my picture of a Citroen DS21; its rear door has a big bash in it. If you're still not convinced that this is a sleazy place. Let me tell you what you see right as you enter. A life-size, naked half-torso of Marilyn Monroe screwed onto the hood of a muscle car. Now do you see what I mean? The best that I can say is that someone needs to cater to the lowest common denominator, and Orlando seems to excel at this. But if you're like me and prefer uplifting, positive experiences, then I can suggest at least one attraction in the Orlando area to you: The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. This museum is in Winter Park and it's America's best collection of art by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The admission is $6. Enjoy!

One of them happened to be the mess fest that was going on this past weekend. So we decided to head out to Orlando and let me tell you it was so much fun!! They transformed one of their rooms into a fun place for the kids to get messy. You were catapulting scrunchie balls covered in paint onto a canvas sheet. There was another area where they were doing little bottle rockets with paint and Alka-Seltzer. That my kids absolutely LOVED. They also had scribble bots, a raffle painting for canvas paintings but that's not all because they had other stuff going on different floors. We got to make our own slime and we even got to go outside and watch them use liquid nitrogen to cause a bubbly explosion that the kids got to play afterwards. This was a 10 out of 10 experience.

It was part of my Go City Explorer pass, which is a good deal if you want to hit up multiple random attractions and don't have a good idea of what to do. It's also slightly cheaper on Groupon if you're not from the area and want to buy individually. Parking is free in Icon Park's garage floors 4-7. It's an easy walk to the elevators to go down with a bunch of other tourists to walk through the park to near the center, where the Museum of Illusions is located. Along the way, you can get a nice photo op with the ferris wheel in the background. Once you walk in, you present your entry at the counter, and can begin walking through the exhibits on the left (the right side behind the counter is where you'll be exiting, beyond the few racks of merchandise). The walkthrough is pretty short - most of the wait is basically waiting on other people to clear out so you can take your own photos. We did everything in 45 minutes. There's not too much text to read, but sufficient enough for a basic understanding of how the illusions work. There are supposed to be a couple of guides waiting around to assist with photo-taking, but they were concentrated in one area, so for the most part it felt like we had to help ourselves. My favorite exhibits were the head on a platter, Ames room, and cloning table. Everything is still obviously a trick if you take another look at the photos. The reversed room could have been neat, but it doesn't account for gravity pull on fabric, so it only works if you have a shaved head and are wearing skin-tight clothes. The vortex tunnel is not too impressive - just more of an in-person dizzy balancing experience. The infinity room is pretty neat, though awkward when you're behind the camera. The entire experience would be a lot better if there were sensors that took photos for you, since taking the photo yourself negates some of the "magic" in the pictures. I also think they need better instructions for some rooms, since it sometimes took a few minutes to figure out what I should be looking at or doing. For a one-time experience, it's alright.

The people at the welcome center were very friendly and informative, letting me know where to go and giving me useful guides. There's also a small cafe and marketplace before you make your way to the gardens. Overall, the grounds has a fair ratio of both shaded and unshaded areas with different plant species organized in some manner that goes beyond my understanding. You MUST make sure you are well protected by the UV, as it bears down. You should consider thirst quenchers, too. It wasn't too crowded, and there's plenty of semi-secluded spots for a peaceful picnic. I loved that the origami exhibits allowed us to have goals along the grounds. If I go here again, I'd be interested in touring the historic Leu house. The "secret garden" was not really anything except a bunch of foliage, in my opinion, so it was kind of a waste of time trying to find it. The map is very helpful, and the paths are distinguished enough to not get lost. It looks like they had several beautiful options for wedding venues. The Leu Gardens is a great place to pair with some downtown Orlando or Winter Park exploration.
