Orkin did a big job for me in 2023. I had bats and Orkin came and fixed the problem by replacing and treated my attic new insulation, a bat box , sealing the fascia and adding gutter guards. This week I noticed birds flying into my gutters. When I called to get support, I received superior customer service. Claudy came out and made a small adjustment to the gutter guard in question. I've had nothing but the run around since the service started on January 2nd last year they have used their motto on me too many times too many different techs and not one got it right!!!!!!I am a vets widow and live alone they say to fix the outside of the house so they can't come into the house!!! Yet I still have mice they sprayed laid down traps said they couldn't and wouldn't come in from outside anymore cuz it's already cold well they are wrong and for 6700 dollars I expect to be mouse free for one damn winter!! I constantly asked for the branch manager many times I gave my disappointment about them in many calls to them!!! They take your money but the job was never done right!! As I watch these baby mice run right in front of me I get so disgusted with Irkins bad business policies and horrible job and horrible communication with the customer they say we keep them from coming inside that's bull!!!!!!! They had to have come from the outside again because they were gone for a whole two weeks and now they are back!!!! I demand the branch manager calls me Dawn Smith in Fillmore street and does his job or gives back every single penny because they are a fraud why should I pay all that money and their so called motto be nothing but a farce!!! I requested a service when I called. They quoted me a price and I said I would think about it. I don't like how they hound you over and over to sell you the service. I said fine I will look over the "agreement" (that they make you sign before they even come, which is weird) I read it, and called back to cancel. Thought that would be the end of it until I got a notification two days later saying they are coming to my house?? Why didn't they cancel it when I told them to? DAng! More like used car salesmen! I called for an estimate and some questions about their service and I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman! I haven't been that pressured to buy something on the spot since my first car! "I used to work in finance..." - What am I supposed to do with that "bragging" comment? "What can I do to get you to sign up with our services today?" - I don't think Im going to go with the first quote I get for a service. He was quite upset when I told him that there would be now world where I would buy their services without getting other quotes first. read more

I have nothing but horror stories about this company. They lied from us from start to finish damaged our home, misdiagnosed our problem and left poison and snap traps where our dog could access them after deliberately telling us they wouldn't use these methods. Turns out we didn't even have mice we had a racoon in our attic. Buyer beware don't believe anything this company tells you, use someone local or really anyone else they are unbelievably bad. read more

I'm not sure about the other reviews, but I haven't had a problem with them. They actually saved me from a bat problem that Terminex wouldn't help me with. I was with them for a year and they gave me lip service, but Orkin came out and got the house fixed up and I have not seen a bat since then. They are very nice to me on the phone and they changed my appointments to what I needed. They show up when they say they will. I don't think it's that pricey. I was paying 130 a month with Terminex and I pay every other month at 90. They came in between services and was nice about it. This is the worst pest control company. I scheduled a general pest spray between 12pm and 2pm for today. Nobody ever called or came to the house. I called after 2pm and waited on hold for over 10 minutes before I finally got through to a person. That person proceeded to tell me my appointment had been rescheduled of which I was never notified. I was then passed to the local branch. After another 6 minutes on hold, the person told me it was rescheduled. I said that will not work because we aren't available that day. I asked why it was rescheduled and I was not notified. She told me they called but my voicemail was not set up, which is untrue as I received at least two voicemails during the two hour window. She didn't even try to fix the situation, but offered me a few bucks off my next appointment. That doesn't help my any issue. Very unprofessional and unhelpful. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! Stay clear! 1. You work around there schedule you want mornings maybe. 2.get nothing but "lip service" (Lets tell them what they want to hear but don't follow through) from the manager. Have the email to prove that he lied. 3. You can not get a hold of corporate for nothing! 4. They treated my home 4 times for same problem. I hired Orkin Davenport, IA for bimonthly pest control including bug & rodent control. I pay $90 for them to come & spray my house every 2 months & the agreement is if we see any insects or pests in between appointments, they come back out for free & fix the problem.The past 2 visits by them, the Orkin man comes to our house, sprays little to nothing, says "Everything looks ok" and then we kill spiders & millipedes until his next visit where the entire situation is repeated. After the 2nd visit & we still had bugs, I called & left 2 messages & no one has called me back. I'm done with their service. read more
