We had maintenance pest control at our home in CA, and we knew that we wanted it for our home in Star. I solicited a few estimates from local companies. Prices for the service were about the same, though one company recommended an initial treatment, a follow-up treatment 30 days later, and every two months from then on, for a total of 7 treatment in the first year, for a total annual cost of $880. They claimed that, since we lived close to the Boise River, we would really need extra protection from bugs and critters. In contrast, Phil from Custom Care recommended quarterly service, stating the they could always go to every other month if needed. I liked this approach better. I didn't feel like they were going for my pocketbook. Total annual cost the first year: $520. Aaron, the technician, contacted me right away and set up and appointment for the following week. He showed up as scheduled, explained his process, and went right to work. This included interior and exterior treatment, and he even set some mousetraps in the garage, saying that with the construction going on around us, this would be extra protection. I appreciated that. We had gnats and he found that we had standing water in our crawl space, which turned out to be a big issue. Once that was fixed he got the gnats under control. We've had no problems since. Jeff and his crew have been professional, calm and never make me feel like they're rushing to get to the next job. They do a good job of explaining what they're doing, and accommodated our special requests. When we need a follow up between appointments they're back quickly to take care of it. I had been seeing a lot of spiders and wasps etc, and was actually thinking of having someone spray anyways, so thought I'd go for it. They did charge me $59 for my first service, and then three more, one each quarter for $89 each. The last one being in February 2017. Forward to the end of July 2017 (five, almost six months later), and I receive an email that they have scheduled someone to come out to my home in August. I called Customer Service and said that I thought we were done. But was told that I signed up for four sprays (not three) after the initial one. This may be true (which I understand), but it's not what the guy told me. Even the final technician that came out thought it was weird how it had been six months. During my services, the technicians were all very friendly and I thought they did a decent job, which is why I've given 2 stars. However, two of them left my side garage door open, one of them said my dog tried to bite him (never happened - I was by the window and could see everything) and another showed up when I had rescheduled. I will never use Crazy Frog again, but if you do, please make sure to read the contract details and any small print. Good luck!

Told him that we already have a pest company, and he proceeded to continue his sales pitch. "Who do you have doing your pest control?" "What are you paying?" blah blah. Finally I said "I don't mean to be rude guy, but I have a no soliciting sign which you ignored, and I've already informed you that we have a company doing our pest control." Dude literally says "My bad" and **continues his pitch**!!! The irony of being pestered by a pest control company solicitor is almost too much. Unfortunately for "Crazy Frog," I hold grudges for a long time, and if pest control ever comes up in conversation with family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, anyone who will listen, etc etc... I will tell them to look someplace else other than Crazy Frog.
