My wife and I just moved to Star from Orange County, CA. We are in a new development, with construction going on around us, and noticed a number of spiders in and around our home. We had maintenance pest control at our home in CA, and we knew that we wanted it for our home in Star. I solicited a few estimates from local companies. Prices for the service were about the same, though one company recommended an initial treatment, a follow-up treatment 30 days later, and every two months from then on, for a total of 7 treatment in the first year, for a total annual cost of $880. They claimed that, since we lived close to the Boise River, we would really need extra protection from bugs and critters. In contrast, Phil from Custom Care recommended quarterly service, stating the they could always go to every other month if needed. I liked this approach better. I didn't feel like they were going for my pocketbook. Total annual cost the first year: $520. Aaron, the technician, contacted me right away and set up and appointment for the following week. He showed up as scheduled, explained his process, and went right to work. This included interior and exterior treatment, and he even set some mousetraps in the garage, saying that with the construction going on around us, this would be extra protection. I appreciated that. Arranging the appointment was very easy, the Technician call me right away to set up the appointment time. I asked for a yelp estimate for a wasp problem at my residence. I got three responses and Custom Care Pest Services was by far the cheapest with a fast response time. They contacted me a few hours later and scheduled their technician Paul to come out the next day. Paul was very knowledgeable and friendly and located the exact problem areas, sprayed and removed the wasp nest as well as areas in the rocks where nests were built. Hi, I just wanted to do a shout out for Custom Care. They are super easy to work with. Due to the virus they could not come into my house to spray a part of the kitchen that has an abundance of ants. So, after they came and left I called and they left me some bait traps the next day. They call and communicate when they they are coming. I have used a few different pest services in the Treasure Valley and although they have been fair to good, they don't match the quality and customer service I have received from Custom Care. Paul has been fantastic and he is very knowledgeable. He always takes the time to answer my questions and he has given me some great tips. Here's what I like about Custom Care: I really like that they won't show up at my house on a random Saturday when I'm still in my pj's and try to sell me something, I like that they call to remind me of my scheduled service (I'm a busy Mom and I forget), they care about my property and my pets, and they do an awesome job so they don't have to come back for unscheduled visits.
