I was pretty much done with a "pest control" service after I had my first and last bad experience. I never needed the service, but it had gotten so bad this year and being a single mom I had to do something about the spiders! Vertex caught me at the Twin Falls County fair one afternoon with a drawing to win a year of free "Pest Control" . I laughed and told my daughter, " boy I need that if it only worked! And because I had already paid full price for someone else to come out TWICE, if I would try thier service he would give me a big discount for trusting him... I thought about it.. ok what the heck, I could trust him and either have spiders or maybe it would work.. A couple of days later. Tyler showed up with a smile, exactly on time, explained everythimg to me again. After he was done with the outside he also explained that the other company had not dewebbed or take nests or any debris down as they were supposed to... Thats a HUGE part of why they were coming back. He covered everything! And my kids even liked him! He also explained how I could get even further discounts as well. Excellent service! I'm so sorry I'm getting your review in so late. Michael has been out to my house twice now as my new service tech. Both times he has done a wonderful job. I have a serious phobia of spiders as I have written in previous reviews, and he understands my level of concern. Thank you again Michael. This is going into my second year with Vertex and I'm so thankful I decided to go with them. So far so good. We have just had a few real hot days in a row so that means the creepy crawling eight legged eight eyed are waking up!!! Yikes! And all those things they like to eat as well. Yuck! If you don't want them coming in your home or eating all your flowers. You definitely need to get vertex out ASAP. Throughout the fall and winter my service of course continues yearly so they continue to treat under the house thank goodness. So nothing should be alive under my house creeping up. Hopefully this year I won't see another wolf spider the size of my hand. IN MY HOUSE! They even keep control of the bees outside. You really can't go wrong with them. I couldn't be more happy. I needed pest control service after my wife noticed spiders in and around the house. I asked the owner of Tailored Living of Boise who had just finished adding storage cabinets to the house and was meticulous with his work for a reference. He suggested Vertex Pest Control as a good quality company. It is local and family owned, similar to his business. That is a very good thing because they have more at stake than a major national chain does. I called for the appointment and it was amazing. I actually spoke to a human being who was kind and patient and precise what I could expect. So far so good. Morgan arrived the day of service. I told her I wanted to watch how she did her job. She was showing me were the wasp nest were (all eight of them), plus where the earwigs, and the ants play. The routine was spraying 5 feet from house and three feet up. She was very through with everything. She was friendly and conscientious and a good employee. I was very happy with the entire service. I would recommend the company without reservations. Update 6/22/2020: we have seen zero wasps this summer. I would pay SO much money to keep this incredible result. We have a spider and a wasp problem and we've tried to take care of it ourselves for the last two years. But after both our kids got stung by wasps last summer, we knew we needed to get some professionals. I was referred to Vertex by a friend and then of course checked the Yelp reviews. It was a pretty easy choice! We opted for the quarterly service which includes a first, thorough treatment. Because we were referred, we got 50% off! So this first one was $85. After that it will be $99 a quarter. They sprayed the foundation and eaves, put granules in the grass, dewebbed and denested all over the house and treated all the areas wh they found nests. If we see any nests or extra pests, they will come out every time to take care of it free of charge! I can't yet speak to the long term quality of the service, but I was really impressed by our first appointment. Matt was our technician and he was amazing. Efficient and very knowledgeable. He patiently answered all our questions (while maintaining a 6 ft distance). Yay for no more wasps! read more

We've used Vertex for over a year and have been extremely impressed with their service and products used. Before we started using Vertex, we had a bad problem with wasps, spiders, ants and flies. Since using Vertex we haven't had a problem with any pests or insects. The greatest part of Vertex is that even if their initial treatment doesn't fully cure the pest or insect issue, than you can simply call them to have a technician come back out and re-treat your area at no cost. They truly stand behind their product and service. Unfortunately we are moving to another State where Vertex does not service, otherwise, we'd definitely continue using Vertex's services. Lorne does an extremely thorough and efficient job and we're always pleased with Lorne's services as the technician. If you're in need of a pest/insect remedy company than I'd highly suggest not just settling on a company that offers pest/insect remedy services on the side (i.e. a lawn company, etc.) and go with Vertex, a company that you can trust will get the job done. He was very thorough in not only directing his attention to the specific pest issues we had but also in performing a general review and preventative treatment of the exterior of the house, the yard, and specific interior spaces such as our garage. New construction near our home has required special consideration for rodent migration and Bradley did a review of our bait stations and made appropriate modifications. His communication on all of these actions was outstanding and I greatly appreciate that attention to detail and customer service. A superstar experience from beginning to end. Vertex has been great to work with. I am on their quarterly service plan and they always show up when they say they will. Also, we have had a few "call backs" on some areas outside the home, and Vertex is all over it! They come out and take care of whatever issues we are having, next day even! The service went great. However, they said give a $10 discount off our bill for every positive referral I gave at designated sites - up to 4. So, I sent those recommendations. Their offer is NOT a true statement!!!. But, what they don't tell you is the that . THAT DISCOUNT IS ONLY AVAILABLE ONCE PER YEAR . . . even the technician today said . . . . yet yep yep send in those referrals to get your discount. I asked, like last year and he said YES YES!!!
